Default Implantation Bleeding or very light period?

My period has always been irregular ever since I can remember so I never really know exactly what day it's coming. However, it does always come sometime around the very end of the month. My last period was October 28th and this month it didn't come. I wasn't too worried about it because sometimes it's come at the beginning of the next month. Yesterday morning (December 8th) when I woke up I noticed a very small amount blood when I wiped (light pink) and automatically thought it was my period. I put a pad in and went on with my day. A few hours later when I went to change it, I was really surprised to see only a small amount of (again light pink) blood. I went to the bathroom then and noticed after I peed a few drops of blood (red) had mixed in with the urine and when I wiped, a very small amount of blood (red) was on the toilet paper. I put a new pad in and a few hours later upon checking it, I noticed only two small drops of blood (light pink), but when I peed again the same result as before with a few drops of actual red blood. I automatically got very concerned and thought I had a bladder infection or something more serious. The same pattern exact pattern went on the entire day and when I woke up this morning the pad was again very light pink and very little. Still every time I would go to the bathroom, it would be slightly darker red. I decided to put a tampon in to see where the blood was coming from to see if it was related to my bladder. A few hours later I took it out to find very very small amount of red blood on just the tip, so I'm assuming that rules out a bladder infection or something of that nature. I have been stressed out lately but then again, my whole life has been extremely stressful (which I think is why I have irregular periods in the first place). The past 3 months have been particularly hard but the two months before this, my period has come relatively on time and has been pretty heavy. I have gone through some really hard times but it never made my period light to where I'm hardly bleeding at all. I am sexually active and have a boyfriend who I live with. I have also been cramping on and off the past two days and this morning felt really nauseous (although I don't think that has anything to do with a possible implantation since I've read morning sickness shouldn't come til later). I am beyond confused and have been doing so much research the past two days trying to find out what could be going on. I'd really appreciate any feedback what so ever that you have. I read that I have to wait at least a week if it is implantation to get an accurate pregnancy test reading and the wait is killing me. I really want to have an idea of whats going on as soon as possible. Thank you so much for any responses and for taking the time to read this!

If you think you might be late, the only way to know is to either wait a few more days to see if it progresses fully to your period, or you could take a test. !!!!

Anything's possible, but at this point I'd say wait it out a few more days to see what happens, and if AF doesn't show, then test. I had something similar last month, where I spotted for about 24 hours before AF arrived. Best of luck.

I'm in the same boat... not sure what's going on down there!... However, my concern is that I had a Threatened Miscarriage, since although I experienced early pregnancy symptoms, I also just had an extremely heavy period with pink/brown/then bright red clots and also heavy cramping (which only lasted a full day).. I guess you and I will just need to tough it out another month to see if we get or miss our periods next month?.. and then if we do, then start with the home pregnancy testing to confirm (first line of confirmation), and depending on the results of that, we should probably go to a doctor to get bloodwork done.

Good Luck to you - whatever you are hoping for! :-)
