    Unhappy What do you think??

    Hi Ladies!

To make a long story short...

I have been TTC child #1 for over 10 years with no luck. I have seen 3 fertility specialist since 2009 who have all said the same thing..."You are too old and your FSH is too high... You have almost no chance of having a baby without donor egg and IVF". I have tried clomid and IUI's but have been unable to afford IVF. I am finally at the point that I would gladly do donor egg and IVF if I could afford it and if I had a good support system. I am 43 years old, single, tired of waiting for Mr. Right to come along, but desperately want a child before I'm too old to enjoy it.

4 days before AF was due to start I had a short VERY light 2.5 day long AF type bleed. AF is usually 4-5 days long and very heavy. After it stopped I still had pre AF type cramping, sore bbs, and post O temps. I wish I knew what is going on. I am now 6 days past when AF should have arrived, my bbs are more sore today than yesterday and I kept waking up last night due to the discomfort. My temp is still above coverline, so unless I'm just having high temps this cycle, my body seems to be stuck in limbo.

Well I finally got around to testing this morning BFN . And now with my body acting all screwy I can't even plan to try again in DEC and JAN. My sperm donor will be going home for 3 weeks at Christmas and I will be unable to join him this year. So if AF does not show up after a week he will not be here when the time is right.

I have been ttc #1 for over 10 years and at 43 years old my ttc time is running out and now my body does this to me .

What are the chances the test was a false negative? What else might be the issue. Any and all thought will be greatly welcomed!!!

Wow, tests for some women can be negative for a while. What kind of test are you using? I'm sorry. All that sounds very frustrating. Another member on the board used donor eggs and she had success. It's not cheaper than regular IVF?

Sometimes AF is just simply late for no good reason. Did you have a for sure temp shift that let you know that you ovulated? I do know that some women don't have a positive result for a while, but that is fairly rare.

Carrie used her sister's eggs. I'm sure that would affect the cost? Her screen name is MomOfAnOnly I think?

Test could be wrong, take another. Get a good brand or a digital and see what it says.
And try to relax, if you miss this month then you miss it, if you constantly worry about it then it won't happen. And I KNOW how hard that is and crazy that statement sounds because we had to TTC both of our babies but it's the truth!

Thank you for the thoughts! My last cycle I definitely had a temp rise but since my ??? period my temp has sat pretty steady around 98.3 which is usually the temp in which I start my normal AF. But so far nothing. The brand I used was First Responce pregnancy test. Normally I use the Dollar Store brand but I was out and Walmart was closer.

In most cases IVF with donor egg can be more expensive because you not only have to pay for the IVF and the Egg capture process, but you also have to pay for the egg unless you have someone donating one to you. Regretfully all my sisters are too old and no one else I know would consider it... or I wouldn't consider them.

If no AF shows by Monday I plan to test again and then make an apt for a blood test. Still pretty much the same pg signs going on except my bbs are not as sore as they have been the last two days. Could be because I slept hot last night and maybe the heat helped them out a little??

I feel AF is coming though so we will see.....
