What's going on? :(
So, my last period was on 10/03 and I'm almost a month late now...I've had two tests, one at the local health dept. and one at home. Both were negative (health dept. one week late, home two weeks late). I've had light cramps on and off since late October, headaches that come and go, nausea that comes and goes all day, I've vomited several times in the past two weeks (for no reason at all), and many other symptoms.
I went off of my birth control for a few months (I lost my health insurance and had to wait for an appointment to get the birth control from the health dept.) and now I'm on a very low dosage of orthotricylene (sp?). The nurse said to come back at the end of this pack if I haven't started and I'm just really nervous. I had unprotected sex a few times in the time I wasn't on birth control. Advice please?

You could for sure be pregnant or it could just be all of the transitions with the BC that is messing with your cycle. I wouldn't worry TOO much if you're still showing negative on tests (I would keep taking them if I were you, at least weekly) but remember that people have shown negative on tests for weeks after AF was due. Some people are just like that. To be safe, I would avoid alcohol and tobacco if I were you until you know for sure. And if you want, you can always go into the doc and request a blood test - that would tell you for sure right away.
I"m sorry you're going thru this and hope for the best for you and a quick resolution! Make sure to be more careful about BC in the future though if you're not ready for a little one!!
