i just had a baby three months ago, september. i did have a period but it only lasted 2 days and i just had my second period after having my baby and it was the same as when i was pregnant the first time. is it possible that i could be pregnant again or is this normal so soon after giving birth?

I suppose it's poss. I went to school with a girl who got pregnant with her 2nd not long after she had her first. The only way to know for sure is to test! Good luck!

You can get pregnant immediately after you have a baby. The nurses told me that a few days ago when I had my baby. If you aren't pregnant I would say to take extra precautions if you don't want another baby again so soon.

It took several months for my period to regulate after I had both of my children. I would spot and bleed heavily on and off for 3 months. I was also told that you are very fertile after having a baby, so I agree with PP who says if you don't want another right away you should probably use birth control.

Good luck and I hope you get the results you want.

I have friends who are only 11 months apart. So makes sense that it's possible.

Totally possible... but also agree with the above - AF does some strange things right after having a baby so I would't freak out or anything. But you need to use some protection for sure!!

I didn't have my first real AF until 10 weeks after having Sonja, your body could still be adjusting. Are you nursing?

I know it has been said, but I wanted to add about nursing. You can still get pregnant while nursing, and some people do not think they can. With out birth control, you are running risk (for lack of better terms) of becoming pregnant again. It is normal to have your periods "messed" up after birth as well. Good luck.

I just mentioned nursing because it can screw up your cycle length, good point though!
