    Default Unsure :S

I hope you guys can help me with this. I havent taken my BC since october 24th when I started my period. The fist week of Nov there was a little cramping after the period was over oct 28th but no bleeding. I had unprotected sex w my hubby a few times since the period end and am now 6 almost 7 days late. The past week I have been eating non stop, pee-ing like mad, and craving sweets/starches. I also have been tired, moody, and my breasts hert like crazy. I took a test and it said negative. The concern I have is that when I became pregnant with the youngest girl(I have 2 girls) the test said the same thing until i was alrady 2 months pregnant. I have been pretty stressed lately but the stress never usually affects my period.

    Any thoughts?

Go get a blood test done, its more accurate than a urine test.

The health department in your county should be able to do it, though there may be a fee for the test. You could call and ask before you go in. I had to have one done and it took about 4 days, give or take a day, to get my results.

Worst case scenario is you'll want to be prepared to do the test twice. It should be accurate enough the first time, but if it comes back negative, and you're still feeling this way a week later, they'll do it again. Unlikely to come to that, but with your history with urine tests, you never know.

I'm assuming you were on horomonal birth control - which coming off of it can cause all the symptoms you are having. The rule of thumb is to wait 60 days since your last period and see a doctor if it doesn't come back then.

Just know that when stopping birth control it can take a couple months for your body to regulate. Good luck testing.
