Exclamation Curious as to what everyone thinks! Thank you!

Okay. My husband and I have not really been trying to conceive, but have also not been trying to prevent it all that much either (well we have been using the withdrawal method though). We already have a 26 month old and well, I think I may be pregnant again.

My cycles are usually 37 to 38 days, but that's normal for me since I always get my period on time. The last time I was this late was when I was pregnant with our 26 month old! I was 11 days late before receiving a positive with him.

Anyways, I had three days of on and off brown spotting that had mucus in it two weeks before my period was due. I think there was even a little TINY bit of pink mixed in with it one time as well, and it was only when I wiped and only SOMETIMES a TINY bit on my underwear.

Anyways, right after it stopped is when I started having breast tenderness and the tenderness has grown more and more each day. I just thought it was weird when all the symptoms started right after the spotting had ended.

So today my period is one week late. I have been taking HPTs and they have been all negative. I thought that one of them looked like a faint positive, however, I am thinking it was that way because I dipped it in my urine twice at the same time because I thought that there was not enough urine. I took two different kinds of HPTs today and both were negative.

I am excited and nervous about what could be going on. The same kind of spotting happened when I was pregnant with my son, now 26 months old! So I cannot help but think I'm pregnant again, but then again who knows!

Oh, and another BIG symptom is that I can smell things (with a stuffy nose mind you!) that others around me cannot. That started weeks ago and it seems like my nose has been more sensitive to smells ever since which is odd. My breasts are also bigger with wider and darker in color areolas. There also seems to be those little bumps (Montgomery tubercles I believe they are called?) that have appeared out of no where! I will have shooting pains with my breasts at times too. And now I also have to wear a bigger bra!

It is driving me crazy that I have ALL these symptoms and no answers! I am waiting until I am two weeks late and then going to see the doctor. Hopefully I will have SOME kind of answer then.

So what does this look like to you? Any opinions/advice is welcomed!

    Thank you in advance,

    Megan

    Hi Babypayne!

Well, I bought some pregnancy test strips off the Internet (early pregnancy tests.com) and also I have been using the Dollar Tree tests.

I am thinking of just breaking down and buying a first response early response one (that is the one I took before with my son and I got a faint positive). But still, what if it was too early? I hope this is it for me too, thank you so much! We would love to be able to give our 2-year-old a sibling!

And it is so weird, and sorry if TMI, but as I type this my breasts just ache and throb and feel SO heavy! It feels like how it was after I had given birth and the milk was coming in...A similar sensation like that kind of, which is NOT a normal symptom around my period.

Thank you for the Congrats! And your daughter is just precious!!

I would call my doctor and see if I could go in for a blood pregnancy test if I was you. Good luck and I hope you get the results you want!

    Hello LaurenMomof2,

Yes, that is exactly what I am thinking to do. If when it comes to where I am two weeks late and still a negative on the HPT, then I will schedule a blood test to see what is going on and go from there.

Thank you and I hope we get a positive test soon!

Best of luck! Sure sounds like it could be good, esp since you're having the same things happen that you did last time. Keep us updated!
