    Question Late AF but BFN

Hello! I'm new to the site and only just started TTC in October although I have been off BC for 6 mos. I'm not charting but planned to start this week when new cycle started. AF should have arrived late Sunday or Monday. So I'm now 2 days late but I got a second BFN with FR this morning and still no AF. Any idea what could be going on?

You're probably just late. Your cycles can take awhile to regulate after stopping b/c. If you still don't have af in a few days, test again.
    Good luck!

I agree. Anything could lead to a late AF (stress, stopping BC, change in routine, diet etc).

Also sometimes your HcG is slow to rise and the test may not be able to pick it up yet. Wait a couple more days and test again. If you still have a BFN and no AF then I'd suggest calling your doctor to see if they can run a blood test.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the reassurance. Sure enough 24 hours later AF has finally arrived. I've had a rotten cold all week and just left for a 10 day vacation so I'll chalk this long cycle up to that and hop on over to the TTC group.
