Soooo if you are (or were) between churches where do (would) you send in your tithes?
I would put the tithe into a savings account and then once we were settled into a new church, give the amount we have been saving.
Almost 8 years ago we left our church and while we immediately began attending services at a new church which we helped start, the church wasn't accepting offerings in the beginning until we were sure we were doing what God wanted us to do. Once we decided that starting this church was what we were supposed to be doing, all of us gave the money in a lump sum that we had been saving.
I would also probably save it up for the next church, unless the Lord led us to give it to something else. I guess unless you are a member of the church you are leaving and then I would give it to them.

Check out our business, JRSolutions.
When we were between churches, we sent tithe to various Christian charities--homeless shelters, etc.
Well, Scripture says to bring it to the storehouse...where you are being ministered to on a weekly basis. If you have nowhere, I would give somewhere that you know is doing God's work in the Earth. I would not save it; I would send it out immediately bc of the principle of firstfruits.
I just wanted to add that we give over and above our regular tithe to Christian organizations and charities. I consider those our offerings, but our actual tithe goes to the church. I would hope that you wouldn't be "between" churches very long so I don't see the harm in saving the money or giving it to a charity. I would just be careful about getting in the habit of only giving to charities. Our tithes should be going to a local church that we are worshiping with to advance the kingdom of God.
I would give it away, to one cause or many. What is your heart telling you to do with it?
