I have taken two home tests and went to family dr. they also tested me all three came back POS. Over the weekend I had some bleeding for about 45 min and then nothing but brown when I use the bathroom. Im wondering if I should wry or is this normal???

Anyone that can help with this would be great!

It really depends on how the bleeding was. Was it heavy? Large or lots of clots? Was there pain with the bleeding? If yes to any or all of those I would call the Dr. Was the bleeding light? Was it more like spotting? Did you need a pad? Was it painless? If yes to any or all of those then it could be old blood.

Was the bleeding heavy or just more like spotting? Did you have cramping? I think with it ending so quickly that you are fine. I've had a m/c before and the bleeding lasted for a few days with me. If you are worried, you can always call your dr, just to ease your mind. Good luck to you and keep us posted!!!!

To both- I had no cramps, I was sitting on my bed got up there was a spot of blood and then nothing after that didn't need a pad but had one one for a day and nothing on the pad. should I be worried?I have 3 other children but nothing like this and my last baby is 8 years old now. I dont know what to think.

I had spotting with my son and this time too. I was worried both time but, everything was normal. If you are anxious though every pregnancy is different too. Call though if you are worried.

I'd call your doc and mention it - they may do some more blood work and you may be lucky enough to get an early u/s out of it.

That being said, I'm sure things are JUST FINE! I had spotting at 6 weeks with DD and spotting at both 6 weeks and 9 weeks with this one and everything is fine. My sister is 18 weeks with her third child right now and spotted four separate times this time around and she's fine.

But I'd call the doc and get checked out - it'll make you feel better!

    Best of luck!

Well update: I called this morning and the nurse told me she thinks it was the implantation taken place and now I have the old blood with the brown that is there when I use the restroom. I to ease my mind I took another home test and it came back POS. again So I really think things will be alright thank GOD!

I have a question for the ladies that have more the 2 or 3 children. I was laying on the couch last night and I swear I felt a flutter!! My mother had her 4th at age 34 and she said she felt her baby move around 7-9 weeks. Has anyone else felt this as well? I just want to make sure Im not losing my mind lol!

At 7-9 weeks, your baby is barely bigger than a grain of rice. The flutter is gas. Your digestion slows to a crawl at that point in pregnancy, making things feel like a baby moving, especially to an experienced mama who's felt baby movements before. The feelings are very similar.

this is my 4th...i've never felt movement until the second trimester, but a lot of ladies have said they can feel it earlier. depends on how receptive you are to it i guess, position of placenta and baby.

Colace for constipation. Or whatever off brand you can find. I practically lived off the stuff. Tylenol Cold is good for the head cold.

    Congratulations, by the way!

That's great! Have you checked out the due date rooms on this board? You'll be able to chat with other women who are due the same month as you.
