    Default So confused. Need help!

On July 27, me and my now ex boyfriend had sex and we were being dumb and the condom broke... Well. I missed my period that month. I started to freak out and take a ton of pregnancy tests. I took about 7 and out of all of those 1 was positive. But since then I've dropped the idea of me being pregnant, only to have that thought being brought back to me almost 4 months later. A few weeks ago I started thinking I was pregnant again because I was getting unusual cramping in my abdomen and I started gaining weight and getting what I think is a baby bump. My mom brought me to the doctor to have me tested and get an ultrasound. They did the ultrasound thing first and said they thought they saw something, but couldn't tell for sure because my bladder wasn't full. They tested my blood and it came back negative. And now, a few weeks later, I am dead set on my being pregnant. I have symptoms, those of which being: cramping/stretching feeling in my abdomen, daily mild headaches, bloating feeling in my stomach, shortness of breath, lower backaches, fatigue, tender breasts, I have thrown up a few time in the last month, and I've gained about 10 pounds(I have never weighed more than 120 in my life, before I left my moms house I weighed 118, and now I weigh almost 128). I don't know what to think, and even my friends are asking if I'm pregnant because of my belly showing. My boyfriend even mentioned me looking like I've gained some weight. Please help?

If the blood test was negative...then you are most likely not pregnant. You can have things called phantom symptoms...where you trick your brain into thinking your pregnant...and have a bunch of symptoms to go along with it. I would do some research online and see if your symptoms could be these phantom symptoms.

Well I heard that sometimes even the blood tests can't detect pregnancy for a few months. Do you think that's possible in my case?

I doubt that you are. If it was 4 months before you got an ultrasound, you would have, without a question, saw something. Have you had AF since then at all?

I had a blood test say once that I was not and then 2 weeks later retested and it was yes, I would go in for a repeat blood draw and findout what is going on.

If you had one positive test, you could have been pregnant and miscarried or had a chemical pregnancy. If your blood work came back negative, the odds of you being pregnant are almost as slim as if you didn't have sex.

Good luck. If you are gaining now, think of the changes you have done since leaving your mother's house. Are you eating out more? Are you drinking alcohol? These are all things that can lead to weight gain.

    Default common symptoms of pregnancy

Symptoms of pregnancy are different from women to women. But, the most frequent pregnancy sign in all is belated or missed period. Some may experience the pregnancy symptoms as early as within a week of conception, a number of may experience it later and little may not experience any initial pregnancy symptoms.

    Default Advanced symptoms of pregnancy

Some women believe that they just know. But for a batch of others whose intuitions don’t tell them that they’re pregnant, there are other ways to tell whether or not they’ve got pregnant. Women’s bodies and hormones change when they get pregnant and some of those signs could give you an early indication of pregnancy.

If you had a positive pregnancy test and then a negative one it is likely you miscarried or had a chemical pregnancy.

Weight gain happens for all sorts of reasons, so does abdominal cramping or any other type of cramping. At 4 months you'd be able to see something even with a empty bladder, and if you had a negative blood test at 4 months it is very unlikely that you're still pregnant.
