Ashley & Cassandra...Washington State & Phoenix, AZ...if I ever head that direction I will certainly call you And Ashley, I probably will get to you before I get to Cassandra I really want to drive to Disneyland this summer! Not sure if I can afford to but, I want to!

Ashley, we can have a pity party together! Today kind of sucks for me also! Not any specific reason other than I just feel a little overwhelmed with all the "stuff" I NEED to get done and can't seem to get done. Then, when I have down time I am suddenly lonely and do not know how to start socializing again! Your words here... "Sometimes I just feel like I'm going to be alone the rest of my life. I am truly a happy, positive person, so deep down I don't think I really believe this but today I do." really strike home with me! Hugs! And sorry today wasn't a good day. On a side note, I guess I was late coming in to the post, I didn't see the "large" photo and wish I would have. I can't really see your photo now it's small

And last but not least...Amanda! I am really looking forward to the visit now! I am sending you my cell number by pm!

It's my day for a vent ladies....

As ya'll know we received the parental rights order and the next step was for sperm donor to go to an attorney to terminate rights. He said he couldn't do it because it would cost $ 3,000.00. So I found an affidavit that I adapted with our names and information. It wouldn't be legally binding but it would be something I could hold up in court if he ever pursued visitation. Well I sent that over this morning and he refuses to sign it! I am not forcing him to give up his rights, this is what he wants to do. He just pulls this crap to annoy me. If he really does want to be in Eli's life then great! If you don't want anything to do with him then great! Just pick a d@mn side already!!!! I am so at the end of my rope with all of this. I am soooo tired of the games.

Okay rant over, thanks for listening.

Ashley, I love the new photo! Gorgeous family!

Amanda, I had my son's father's rights terminated for $500. Have you called a LOT of attorneys for quotes?

Cassandra, can you run down here to Texas and take some photos for me? I want to take photos of the girls in the blue bonnets but they always do better with someone else!

Cassandra, I hope I have a girl some day so I can dress her up in a tutu! Bella is so cute and is growing up so fast! Picture to picture that you post you can see her change.

Ashley, I love your new picture. Your boys are very handsome. And I like your outfit!

Dee Dee, I haven't called for quotes because that was his responsibility to take care of. I think he may sign the affidavit now. He had me add a line in there saying that I won't go after child support.

On another note, the bluebonnets are sooo beautiful this year. I guess the drought last year and then the rain this spring has them happy. I should find a field to take some pictures of Eli in. In fact I am going to make that my mission this weekend!

What are everyone's plans for Easter?

Aw, thanks! She really is growing fast, she'll be three a month from tomorrow! I'm in full planning mode for her party.

My mom is coming to visit for Easter. We'll be doing the usual egg dyeing, egg hunts, and I've got some goodies for an Easter basket for B. I'm hoping the weather will be decent so I can do a photoshoot in her adorable Easter dress too!

Hmmmm Easter, my plans...sit home and cry! H has the girls for the weekend and I have asked him 50 times if he would let me have the girls Sunday evening or even for as little as 2 hours Sunday and he refuses to answer me. He is absolutely thrilled he has something that he knows I want!! Jerk!

Can I squeal with excitement really quickly? I got a 100 on the second exam in a row in my Cell Biology class! Its a difficult course that is half senior Biology majors and half first year graduate students. And I have a perfect 100 in the class while being the sole caregiving of a three year old. Just wanted to give myself a little pat on the back, I think the people on my facebook get sick of me talking about school.

And Dee Dee, he's an ass. A complete ass. I would do my own little Easter with the girls on Monday!

Cassandra way to go!!!!! You are freaking smart! I am quite impressed!

H called today after picking up the girls b/c he was worried about the noise coming from the Carbon Monoxide detector in his apt. (I frequently complained while we were married that he nevers acts the man of the house). He asked me to come check it out for him. So, since he has my girls there, I went and checked it out. Figured out the problem and gave the girls their clothes for the weekend. He invited me to go to a carnival that was here in town for the weekend and I went b/c there is no way in the world I would turn down a night with the girls!

We went to the carnival and the girls had a blast! It has made me sad though b/c now I am back home reflecting on the evening. It was nice to be a "normal" happy complete family for a few hours. That is a guilt that will make me insane through the years b/c I KNOW at one time we had a "normal" happy family! He then invited me to the church Easter egg hunt tomorrow and said he would bring the girls home Sunday at 4pm to hunt eggs. So, I will go to the church Easter egg hunt and am looking forward to my girls coming home early on Easter.

Shocks me that he can be a complete jerk and then flip a switch to being a nice guy! I soooooo do not understand how he can be like that!!!!!

I recycled my outfit I wore for my cousin's wedding, but my boys wore the cutest outfits for Easter yesterday. It was such a nice day. Although, I posted on fb how Santa Claus gets off easy because he doesn't have to work with perishable items. I had to set my alarm for 6:30 to get up and hide the eggs and then the boys were up at 7 to find them. We went to church, lunch, then had a lazy afternoon at home. Overall, it was such a nice day.

Dee Dee, I share those sentiments of not doing things as a "normal" family, but I do have to say that time really does do wonders. I wasn't even sad at all yesterday. I was actually happy that there wasn't a fight in the morning just trying to get him to go to church with me. So, it will get better and that cliche that time makes things better really is true.

    How was everyone's Easter?

Ashley, I love the picture! You're beautiful and your boys are so handsome! Glad you had a great Easter!

So did we! My mom came to visit and we stayed up late stuffing eggs with little treats and spare change and then hiding them. Bella was SO excited to see her basket and hunt eggs. She has carried around the doll she got nonstop! We ended up having beautiful, sunny, and 65 degree weather so it was a perfect weekend.

Our Easter was good. Eli caught on pretty quick when it came to hunting the eggs. But as soon as he figured out how to open the eggs he wouldn't move until he had opened all of the ones in his basket.

Oh and we did get a couple of bluebonnet pictures.

Cassandra, I didn't realize our kids' birthdays were so close. My little guy turns 2 on Monday. Exciting time for all. Plus, you graduate on Saturday. What a fun weekend. Are you doing anything to celebrate both occasions?

I didn't realize that either! Her birthday is Sunday! I'm actually graduating plus moving this weekend, so it'll be fun but hectic. I'm taking her to a special dinner on Sunday (plus balloons because she's been asking if she'll get one on her birthday. , and then she has a big rainbow themed party on the 19th that she cant stop talking about!

Hi I was where you are going on 4 years ago. Its hard, but its totally doable and you never know how strong you are until you become a mama.

Hey Girlies! Sorry I have been MIA for a while but it has been a whirl wind and it's still not over. We are officially moved but the work situation has been hell since getting the new office up and running has been quite a challenge.

Cassandra congratulations on graduating. Sorry I am late with that. I know this is corny but I am super proud of you. You inspire me!

And happy birthday to Bella and Evan! Elijah will be 1 next month. I CANNOT believe that it's already been a year.

Hi Cassi! Glad to see you in here. I was in the exact same place you were. It's a tough road but it really does get better. Pregnancy is hard and emotional enough and when you throw in the situation of being single it really does take its toll. But in the end its so worth it having this little ray of sunshine in your life. Do you have friends or family that are supportive?

Hey ladies! How is life in the new place, Amanda? What does Eli think, has he started childcare somewhere new there?

Things have been hectic here too with all the moving and B's birthday party! But things are starting to settle down. I've got a little photography work coming up, and have a huge stack of grad school and nursing school apps to get started on!

Things are good here. Eli is doing great at daycare. He has a baby doll that he has adopted there. The workers say that he drags it everywhere with him and they have even started calling it "Eli's baby".

I love the new pictures of Bella, she is such a doll. Sounds like you are crazy busy. Will you go back to school in the fall?

Where is everyone else at? Dee Dee...Ashley, how are things?

Hi girls! I am here! It just seems like this room gets dead quiet and so I think I kind of stray at times...

Me and the girls are doing good. I am much better adjusted to my girls going to their dad's house on the weekends. When they are gone for the weekend I work a 12 hour shift on Saturday night and sleep until about noon or 1pm on Sunday because H ALWAYS brings them back early on Sunday rather than Monday like he petitioned to in court! Working keeps me occupied and one weekend pays for my childcare for the month.

I got a $3 per hour raise at work which has been awesome!!!!! And it actually feels like I have more money now than I did when H was living here and he is a coach! How is that???

My DS21 is being a difficult child still. I am at a loss of what to do about that but, only time will tell. He did move out and has been kind of distant but, he needs to grow his own wings so I am giving him his space.

What are everyone's summer plans? We will be in San Antonio the last week of June for vacation. Other than that, it is life as usual at my house.
Dee Dee, Mom to 2 handsome young men & 2 beautiful girls!
