I had only a .1 loss at my weigh-in yesterday. Oh well-better than a gain, right?

I'm not feeling great today but I am going to make myself workout this evening. I am having nausea issues so I haven't eaten much at all today. i'll have to work on that for dinner.

I had a male friend in high school that cared very much about what he was putting into his body. It made him more healthy and I wish my parents had instilled good eating habits in me when I was growing up. While everyone else ate chips and soda he had his carrots and water.

I know that it is scary with all the eating disorders and yo yo dieting now to think of our children picking up our bad habits but what if they pick up the good ones instead? We should make healthy choices for ourselves and our families...it is contagious.

Just remember that if you are doing any of the resistance training on the workout, you will be gaining muscle as you lose fat. I am amazed at the amount of inches I have lost in just 6 weeks of being on the 9 Wk. program.

Thanks-that is something I struggle to remember. Right now I'm doing the cardio program and then throwing in a customized resistance training here and there.

I have lost 1.5" off my bust line in 3 weeks which is awesome. I hate being a 40/42 D/DD!

I have lost a significant amount off my bust as well. I am going to update my weight and measurements in just a minute. I think a combination of too few calories and a lot of strength training is what kept my weight the same for 3 weeks straight. Once you build a little bit of muscle your metabolism will get stronger and you'll lose on the scale again. It is amazing...it just kinda drops off. Last week I weighed 216.8 or something and today's weigh in was 214.8.

Keep track of those measurements!!! Especially the bust and hips.

I had a good workout yesterday-kept my heartrate in a good zone without really scaling back too much on my effort like I've had to be doing recently.

It seems like WW only lets me track my weight on my specified weigh-in date, unless I don't know how to input it on other days. But I just weighed myself and I'm at 193.6, so almost back to my low of 193. Which is still 10 pounds above my real post-baby low but that was also post-ICU, I have no appetite and didn't eat for almost two weeks, so not really a good comparison, huh?

Way to go on a good workout!

I don't know about the WW online...so I'm no help there. But almost hitting 193 is GREAT!

I figured out how to change my weigh-in dates, I just can't seem to figure out if I can track a weight in between. Like Sunday is my weigh-in. but unless I change that to Tuesday I couldn't figure out how to put today's weight in.

I am really glad you were able to work out without scaling back. I feel that some days I can give my all and others I am just exhausted. My workout tonight was really good, so I am happy about that.

Keep up the hard work. Yay for the weight check this morning!

Why do you want to track more than once a week?

Just so I can document my lows, in case my actual weigh-in day is a little higher

I got up early this morning and worked out before anyone was up. I forgot how much I love being up earlier. It's been so long since I've not just been exhausted. It was nice to get a workout, shower, laundry and breakfast on my own in before the kids were up.

Vanishing weights are driving me crazy...I've weighed in 2 pounds less several days and then on weigh in day I keep bouncing back up. I don't think ww lets you track more than one weight/week.

I wish I was a morning person! I have never been. I get up when absolutely necessary! LOL. It is definitely something I need to work on.

I weigh in daily as well...I just like to see how my weight fluctuates. If I am up one day I know I have to work harder the next day...It my own personal motivator.

Well the Wii says I lost 2.4 pounds since yesterday morning, so I'll take it! Not sure what that puts me at because I'm trying harder to keep track.

Had another good morning workout, about to get in the shower and then be ready for the girls to be up! Today holds a whole bunch of rototilling and weeding out my non-existent flower beds. Trying to decide if I should do it first thing-like now, before I shower-or wait until after the sun moves behind the house which isn't until like 8 or so.

WTG on 2.4 lbs!!! One of the things I miss about the Wii is that the scale is right there when you go to workout.

Eh, sort of. John really likes it. I have relaxed on it a bit and have started using my flex points here and there instead of trying not to. I just need that flexibility to have my scoop of ice cream or whatever at night because if I don't, it becomes an obsession and suddenly one scoop will NOT be enough for me. John chews me out for eating extra like that. But he's getting so much more food than me, it's annoying. He struggles to eat all his points and I struggle not to overeat mine.

I have been doing my workouts and those are going really well but I think I am still going to push him for a gym membership in September. I want to be able to just go and walk or ride the bike and he weather here through the fall, winter and spring is too rainy for me to really do that outside.

Well I changed my weigh-in date to Fridays because that's what John's is. He likes to weigh in BEFORE the weekend happens (if we eat out it's on the weekend) which makes sense to me.

PLUS that meant I actually go to track my low of 193.0!

Woohoo! I think Friday weigh in is GREAT! I weighed myself mid-day yesterday and it was 1 lb lower than my morning weigh in...I was shooting myself in the foot bc this morning I weighed right on what yesterday mornings WI was. Oh well...

So happy for you! As for the point...don't beat yourself up over eating the flex points. I need a scoop of ice cream as well most nights or I will go crazy like I did one day last week and practically ate half a carton. LOL. We know our own bodies. Cutting sweets completely (IMHO) is bad news (for me anyway).

192.8 this morning! And I didn't even track really yesterday. I was careful and conscious about what I was eating, but not to the point of tracking.

Good for you! If you're not into counting the points, there is a ww plan that you get to pick foods from a list and not count them and then you get X points in other stuff to eat each week. It's supposed to be less tracking effort even tho it doesn't seem like it from my description. Not trying to sell ww but I had never heard of it until my last mtg.

It's not so much that I mind counting points. But we were eating at my parents' and it was all homemade food from ours and her own recipes and I hadn't planned out ahead of time. I hadn't eaten much during the day-just a banana and a slim-fast shake-so I knew I had quite a bit of leeway on what I ate. I just went through and tracked and I went over, but only by two points and only because I HAD to eat 1/4 of a cheese/apple quesadilla!

AF just arrived (which is awesome-it means that my tubal worked since we DTD like 8 times in my fertile window. I was a bit nervous about believing that the effectiveness was immediate). I had some spotting last night so it wasn't a huge surprise, but in light of the massive cramping bloating I have going on right now, I am seriously amazed that I was down this morning! I usually gain 3-5 pounds during AF.

Cool, I bet you have a nice loss coming! Glad the operation worked!

Most of my meals are at home so the plan manager works pretty well for me but when I do eat at a friend's house or at a restaurant (more often) then I just guestimate- that probably why I had month long drought losing!
