Well I got my + opk and did the trigger this morning...now just waiting for 0830 to call my doctor's office and schedule the IUI!

I've been reading that the optimum time to have an IUI is 41 hours after you trigger, yet my physician's office has a standard where they do them at 0800 only on weekends. That's only 27 hours after I triggered. I hope that doesn't interfere with my potential success!

My office is closed on weekends so I am triggering today and iui as well. We are going to be A LOT just to be sure. I don't think that it will be that big of an issue since sperm can live so long in utero. I know one is supposed to ovulate 24 hours post trigger, so i think you are covered.

When is your iui scheduled? Are you getting excited? What shot did you get? I did Pregnyl and it's made me pretty sleepy and kind of nauseated.

I was supposed to go in yesterday for the folli check and then do the IUI. However when we got there my follies were too small (though I did have 3 or 4 of them) So...Sunday I am doing a HCG trigger then the IUI Monday. I am more nervous than excited, just because of the fact that we only are doing a few more months of this and then going on to adoption (which I am completely okay with) and I am now frustrated that my body suddenly decides to act like a normal person, when things work out perfectly for my body to be ahead of schedule like usual. Now I have to change plans and inconvenience people even more. ARRGGGHHH

I'm excited for you though! Are you worried about inconveniencing your doctor's office? I wouldn't worry about it, they do this stuff all the time. Their goal is to get you pregnant. Good luck!!

No the people at my job...I am a nurse at a peds office and this appointment was so short notice. Plus hubbie has to change a few of his work related plans as well. I just wish my body worked consistantly.

I'm sorry. I guess sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. DH and I are both in healthcare so we really lucked out this cycle, both being off from work- that never happens!

Its tough being in healthcare and trying to schedule appts. I work 12 hour shifts (recovery room nurse), different days each week, so it is impossible to plan ahead. I've kind of told my boss what we are doing so that she doesn't think I'm a total flake. Sometimes I have to leave in the middle of a crazy shift to go to an appt. I feel bad for leaving my coworkers (who hopefully have no idea what is going on), but we gotta do what we gotta do, am I right? Good luck this cycle ladies!

RXmomma...my hubbie is in healthcare as well. He is a firefighter/paramedic and by the grace of God he has an ALS class that he had to trade shifts to go to so he is not at the fire dept. He is still having to be a little late to the class to take care of business.

Mine was actually quite painful, I had to breathe through it for like 5 minutes.

It sucked! The most painful part was lying there with my legs in the stirrups, and the speculum still in there for 15 min! Talk about cramp city

I have been at church camp since Wed doing the camp nurse thing to keep my sorta off of things.
I have labs tomorrow, to see if my prog supplements have been working.
No symptoms yet, except though I have been crampy from both sides so I have no idea what's up with that?

Of course with the previous MC, and GOOGLE...I think the worse.

I am on prometrium since my first prog level in March was 14 after an HCG trigger. I got my levels back from a draw on Monday....78!!! wholey shikeys! thats the highest it has ever been!

So the hpt was a BFN. I called the office, fully expecting them to say to take the month off and to come in for a consult. However, doc said to call when at shows and we will do femera for 7 days this time instead of 5.

Then we will be doing another IUI. I am amazingly okay with doing this and not as frustrated as I was. I def am only doing one injectable cycle as it will cost us a lot more money and we are already ok with adopting. Why spend all that money just for a chance, when we could be using it to go towards the adoption process.

RXmomma I am just a few days behind you...CD 2 for me, the high progesterone delayed AF a few days (Stopped sun night didn't start till thurs)

IUI was yesterday...STILL cramping. I hope this works we had 50mil with 50%motility. 10mil more than last time, 5 mil more movers!! Good luck to everyone!
