Hobby lobby...they sell it by the spool, perfect for making tutus! and they are usually 1/2 off! Im going to get some black(thought I already had some but its brown) and some other colors this weekend

I just might have to make a sweet little tutu for Isla. She wants to be a ballerina all the time. It sure would beat buying one, they can be super expensive!

I've looked at Joanns and Michaels which are my only options and neither sell spools. And I don't feel like dealing with buying it by the yard and having to cut it into strips.

Joanns and Michaels both have it in the spool. Usually in the bridal section.

Cloth Wipes/Napkins (2 layers of flannel) and Breastpads (4 layers of flannel)

I'm not perfect with circles yet.

    Very nice.

I'm not good with circles either, which is why my breast pads will be purchased. Actually, I think I still have the pads I bought from Audrey. I'll use those again. I didn't need them much from her, so they didn't get a bunch of use. They got more use when I was applying anti-fungals to my nipples when we had thrush.

I have those exact same homemade wipes! Same fabric. But yours look cleaner around the edges than mine.

I havent washed them yet, but since I sewed wrong sides together and all that (tucked and turned??? i dont know what to call it) the wipes shouldnt fray, the breast pads will a little but I like how it looks.

    Everything looks sooo cute!

I need to get to sewing. I have a work in progress that is looking sooo good, but I can't show it since it's part of my swap.

I think this thread gets more traffic then the entire craft room gets.

Some of my nieces birthday presents. I'm proud of the bag other than the strap being too long so we tweaked it so now its kinda padded and twisted but its designed to go over her shoulder so its okay. Its reversible too.

I love the little crayon holder!!!!!

OK so I just looked up sewing patterns for making cloth diapers and prefolds and told DH that the next big purchase I make for myself will be a sewing machine because I think I can start making CDs before even getting PG. I told him I wanted to make the 3rd bedroom into a workroom anyway.

Where did you ladies that make your own CDs find a snap machine and how much did it run you?
