I am so jealous of all of this stuff. I soooo want to learn to knit and sew. I am asking Santa for a sewing machine.. any suggestions on what kind? I have no clue about anything sewing related.

I've had a lot of success with my Brother Project Runway machine. knock on wood of course lol. And might I add that I'm far from talented and it's easy peasy. It doesn't come with a dvd or anything but the manual is pretty straight forward. I learned A LOT through that manual.

2 different size bibs and some washcloths.

Red Sox Diaper Cover size S for Baby shower. The waist is intentionally big so it says Boston on the waistband but it looks a little odd on a small soaker. Doesn't look as weird on the large I made for Lily.

    Cute stuff Karen!!!!

I've got an old HV Viking machine and a 1950's White sewing machine. I love both for different reasons. I've heard a lot of good stuff about that model Brother the others are recommending, I have a Brother serger that I really love. I can say from experience, stay away from the cheap Singer sewing machines you can get at walmart. Mine sucked, it was what I learned to sew on and it didn't make things easy, that's for sure.

I sewed tonight and I have some knitting to share but I don't have pics yet.

I made this last night for hte co op jammies, but then I remembered that this person wanted long sleeves Maybe I can use this flannel and sew it on to the short sleeves I REALLY don't want to have to do a ton of these snowflakes! They take forever! So many small short little things and lots of corners. It took me about an hour just to do all this.

Does that match my jammies? What size is it? If it'll fit and it matches, I'll do the short and long sleeves.
