It's 8:45 and I'm contemplating getting in bed already since DH is at work and the kids wore me down today.
We had a ballet Christmas party from 2-5 except it lastted until 5:30 and the last 45 minutes were their performances. It was exhuasting. We are so blessed by this ballet program though. The teachers are in the San Antonio ballet company and they run Ballet Gloria at our church for free. They put so much into it and they are such good role models for the girls - teaching them to dance for God, about modesty and they do a memory verse. It's amazing! Then they put on an awesome Christmas party with tons of crafts for the girls to do and the mom is a photographer who took all their pictures and those of siblings and printed them out for everyone to take home.

Katie, I would love to put LJ in ballet, too expensive. I was thrilled to see that our church changed their Music and Movement class to Mondays for next session so that Luci June can go there. I know she will just love it!

How is everyone doing? I have nothing to complain about. I still work hard on the house and it's still a disaster at the end of the day, but I still keep trying. It's like trying to lose weight. I was not blessed with many good genes. =)

Loving the weather here, it's in the 50's but cloudy. I am looking at a sea of leaves on the back lawn and I am not sure how to get them up, normally we mow them but they are so wet and the backyard is extremely soggy from our rain.

Polly - Did I miss an update on you moving and when ? After the first of the year?

Doing laundry today and then taking the kids shopping to find some crafts they can make for Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Keri for Christmas. I have no idea what I am looking for, anyone have any ideas?

Why does my cousin have to be so stupid? First her brother dies from a drug induced suicide, now she has to go and start raving???? Seriously you are 17 years old!!!!! Didn't you learn what that lifestyle gets you from your brother?????

Fallenstar - That is really sad. Do you have a good enough relationship with her to talk with her about things?

Heidi - We thought we had decided to move, but its up in the air now. It depends on if I can finish my education here in NC (atm its not looking like it) and if we have the money to move back to CA (atm its not looking like it). We have no idea what we are doing right now. I hate being in limbo!!

In other news, one of KC's customers offered to give us a Sun Conure for free. How random is that, eh?? Apparently he is a really sweet bird. My BIL's sister LOVES birds, so she is super excited. Life is strange.

I'm sorry you are in limbo. That stinks. I talked to my aunt, who is my cousin's grandma. She asked her about it, and my cousin swears she is not doing any drugs. I am hoping that she was honest about that. *sigh*

    Mary,

Nathan told me this morning that my belly is a mountain. I guess I need to get on those ab exercises (I have a diastasis - my ab muscles separated while I was pregnant). lol But then he said it was soft and he liked my bell.

Good! Been busy with trying to get organized and taking care of all the Christmas fun. Gesh! kids and their parties, concert and then the nightly BB practices. I'm worn out!

Then this upcoming week. Jesse has his ear tubes put in at 6 am on the 23 and I get my crown at 2pm. I'm getting a bit nervous about Jess's surgery I know the likelyhood of anything going wrong is small but it's that Mommy worry. Then the surgey center called and asked a bunch of questions yesterday. So I'm just thinking of it more then I should I guess

Sorry your not moving like you wanted to

Hey DeeDee, a friend of mine had her daughter (still not 5) done three times already, she did great! I pray it goes well.

I am having a Happy Birthday Jesus party (2nd annual) on Monday and I am finally getting excited about it. If only my house would get just as excited and pick itself up.

Matt survived layoffs at work last week, that was stressful. I am all done shopping with the exception of my dad, so technically "all" done.

Polly- sorry to hear the move may not happen. I'll keep praying about it. If you do come back though, you me and and Mary need to get together perty please.

DeeDee - well thats no fun! I'm sure everything will go fine though.

Heidi - Praise God your DH wasn't laid off! What a rotten time to do layoffs.
If we move back, we definitely do need to all get together! KC is so sick of his job that he is now saying we should move back so I can finish school and he can start school so he can get into something he actually enjoys doing. But you know... its been back and forth back and forth. Until I have my degree, or we are on CA soil, I won't be certain of any decision we make. lol

So... random thought of the day - I HATE online gaming. I see it sucking the life out of the 3 guys in our house, my husband included. There are going to be some changes going on here soon... even if it only involves one out of the three.

Hi girls! I haven't had too much time for APA lately... its wierd! Heidi, Im so glad matt survived the layoffs, I cant' imagine the stress last week!

We are just getting ready for Christmas and then we are leaving town for a week after Christmas so life is pretty crazy here! Its really fun watching Tristyn learn about Christmas, she is totally getting that its Jesus' b-day, she wants to dress like Mary on christmas (too cute) and when we asked her what she wanted she answered a Baby Brother and a Red Lollypop! I love the humbleness! I think we'll be able to work out the red lollypop!

Any kind of gaming is bad...but with online gaming, you don't even need to leave your house. UGH! It can be such an addiction for some people. I hope that your DH and his brothers figure out that it isn't worth it...and quickly.

My DH and I received an invitation in the mail this Friday. It was an invitation from our Pastor and his wife to come for dinner in remembrance of my MIL. We have definitely been thinking about her a lot lately. It has been tough some night. I know that I will get to see her again someday but it is hard knowing that we won't get to see her this side of heaven again. Needless to say, we were so thrilled and very humbled that our Pastor cares for us (not that we didn't know it but this gesture is just what we needed to truly believe it). It will be tonight at 6:30 pm.

Just to clarify, its not gambling gaming, its online games (one called Camelot, to be specific). Not sure if that came out right. lol. Its just that they are on it so much. Drives me crazy.

And to you, Sharon. I am glad you have such a caring pastor.

LOL! Sorry, I live in Reno, NV and that is all there is here...and it is called gaming so my fault on the confusion. LOL. But those online games can get a little irritating too. I play an online game with DH but he plays way more than me and I too get a little frustrated.

I won't get to see my family either, and my sister is going out east for Christmas. At least my in-laws are great.

And, there really isn't that much snow here in IN. You can still see the grass.
