I'm working on being a SAHM. God just hasn't granted me that blessing yet. I think I'm of the rare sorts in this room, too. lol BUT - Jas & I are refinancing our house to 4.5% thus dropping our monthly bill like $150/mo!

Children Rant: I love my son. I do not like the age where he gives you books to read and then takes them away 2 seconds later!
And to my baby who is baking: Can you please let me get more than 4 hours of sleep??? Mommy would appreciate!

Ok rant over. I love my kids, but I am going a little crazy right now!

Carrie - Wow! $150 a month? That's incredible. My parents just did that also, and I think their payment is down around the same.
They did it because my dad's job is at risk, and once you get laid off, banks will not allow you to refinance. They actually didn't want to do it, but felt they needed to as a precaution. Before that they had refinanced to a SHORTER term and were paying a much higher than necessary payment in order to try to pay it off sooner.

    Gotta do whatcha gotta do.

Mary - I'm sorry! Hope Baby #2 lets you get some good sleep soon!

I am really struggling right now. Sunday at church, I prayed for God to give me direction with my job. (Long story short, my company has done layoffs and we are still financially struggling so I know my time is coming soon. I have applied for a few jobs about a month or so ago but I really don't know where I am to go. )

Well yesterday and today, I have been hating my job. I haven't hated my job since I been here (7 years ago). So now I am like, "God are you trying to open my eyes and see how I am not in a good place?" I really don't know.

Ugghhhh!!! I haven't felt like this since way before I moved here (7 years ago).

Sorry I had to get that out and didn't know where to go. I can't put it on Facebook because a co-worker is one of my friends.

Praying for you. I know it is hard to make decisions. I know there are times I am like God.. Please.. Bigger directions please!! But it all works out.

We prayed for a long time about Dh's old job.. And I think Dh was there to learn some things in faith and when he did, He got a better job offer.

Sorry things are so tough right now.

Sandy - That is hard. Financial/work related decisions are always stressful. Does your family need your income to make it? Or would you be able to stay home until you find another job (if that's what you want to do)? Praying God guides you with His wisdom!

DeeDee - Ouch!! That looks painful! How did that happen? Glad it is healing up!

He got his hair cut before I did. So he was free to roam the salon while I got mine done. He walked up behind LuAnn and touched her iron

I hope you find the direction you prayed for. You can vent here anytime (and I think it's good you did!) I believe facebook is way more transparent than we think even with privacy settings set high.

Has anyone seen the sex slave/trade 'PSAs' (for lack of a better term) that Jentzen Franklin is doing?

Thanks ladies. We could make it financially if I was out of a job for awhile. I did a lot of praying on my way home from work last night and I do feel better. Also, DH reminded that the devil will try to intervene anytime he can when we are on the right path with God. I had forgotten all about that. After thinking about that, I got myself in the right mind set again. Thank you Lord.

Dee - I am glad he is healing well and doing better.

DH just called. He takes a class on installing solar panels after work on Thursdays with some of the guys from work. I usually pack him a clean change of clothes since he works in a factory. Apparently, I packed him this shirt today:

I didn't mean to! He loves that shirt, but the guys at work would make some serious fun of him. I was laughing so hard when he called me. He had to wear his work shirt to class. Man, I know I've been tired lately, but that was quite the mistake
