DH worked late (he had court) and now I'm waiting on him to wake up so we can eat, and my stomach is going NUTSO!

DH is waiting tables most nights now so I've just got the kids here for dinner. It sucks being alone for dinner, but at least we're paying our bills ok now and finally starting to get caught up!

Brenda - that looks amazing! Great job! Looks like hours of fun for the kids!

Kate - maybe eat a bite or two of something? Just to stop the tummy grumbles? Hope he comes home soon!

As for me, family fun day did not happen. DH woke up sick, too. But its pay day, so I went grocery shopping and picked out shoes and a few outfits for DD. DH stayed home with DD so I got in some "me" time. Not how I wanted to spend the day, but we have a kitchen full of food and my baby looks adorable in her new clothes, so I can't complain!

I'm really hoping I don't get sick, but I've been snuggling a sick baby and kissing a sick husband. Not holding my breath. Several days ago the neighbor girl ran out to see DD. After playing with her for a few minutes she turned to me and said proudly "I've been sick all day. I was throwing up a lot." Greeeeat. Get away from my baby, thank you. A couple days later, DD woke up throwing up. *sigh*

Society's biggest problem - right there. A lack of parenting. Not parents - plenty of people are producing children, but no one actually parents them after they're born.

Woke up feeling nauseous. Fantastic. Did I mention I'm on my period right now, too?
I just want to crawl in bed and sleep all day. But I have a sick cranky baby to chase after.

I'm sorry!!! Being sick when you're the mommy is the worst!!!

I have so much to do today. I'm trying to think of the enchiladas I'm making for dinner as an incentive to get everything done.

So I was sitting on the couch posting on APA. DD was sitting next to me watching tv and I heard the rustle of plastic diaper. I look over and she was standing bent over with her head between her knees and she had taken off half of her diaper. Woah! Full moon there baby! Right in my face, thanks.

Good thing baby bums are so cute, and that he diaper was clean!

Brenda - that play area looks awesome!

Polly - I'm so sorry you got sick. It's terrible taking care of others when you don't feel good. ANd there is no rest for the weary momma.

And I love full moons - so long as they are chubby baby ones.

    EXACTLY!!!

There are things other peoples kids do and I look at mine and I say "I NEVER want to catch you doing THAT!"

We were at walmart awhile back and this boy, I'd say 10ish, would walk behind his mother and be swinging in the air at her head. I couldn't imagine the lack of respect some kids have for their parents

DS keeps taking his jammy pants off! lol Oh I went grocery shopping with him today and for some reason he became obsessed with carrying my bread around, DH and I eat different kinds of bread. Every time I took it away from him, you know so it could be scanned, he could walk down the steps, to put it away!, he would cry! Toddler obsessions I will never understand!

Yes, I am sure. This is even more miserable. Although, it lasted for like 7 months when I was pregnant. Hopefully this is gone ASAP.

There is an abortion thread? I've been posting in the BC threads. Is there something I'm missing?

Stay far away if you want to like people. That is what I have learned. Though I am very impressed with some of the responses in the Abortion thread. I try to stay clear, because people will think I'm some conservative nut job.

Isn't it funny that Christians that stand up for their beliefs are often nut job but people who are from the other side that stand up for their beliefs are passionate?

    Drives me nuts...

I agree. I have gotten used to it. A friend was telling me back how in her psych class she learned sex is determined in the womb, but gender is not. Now I know that is another can of worms right there. I just politely listened.

It wasn't as crazy as I had expected!

Itsn't it interesting how the bible tells us that children are a blessing and debt is a curse, yet in our country (and much of the world) we apply for the curse and prevent/get rid of the blessing... We (humans) are really missing Gods plan.
