I'm feeling much better today. I took the day off and we stayed in our jammies all day. I thought I would be in pain all day but surprisingly it only feels like I got punched really hard in the back. Since I was home I cleaned a little (my bedroom was starting to look like an episode of Hoarders ) and then Hannah I took a nap around 2:30. She's still out so I need to wake her soon.

I am so cold right now! I just can't seem to get warm. It's snowing and freezing rain outside. I'm probably going to take tomorrow off or work from home b/c I get so nervous driving in this weather. I really believe I am a misplaced Southern girl. I hate winter!

We are finally moved into KC's brothers' house, and I have internet again!

Julie - ouch! I hope you heal up soon! That brings back memories of Idaho winters. lol

Mary - hahaha! Well technically, you aren't the only one that knows. I did have to talk with Cathy about watching Lily and finding out about Joe and Sharon's place. (Dan and Cerissa are taking it) But I hope we can surprise a lot of people

    Polly:Sorry about the place.

Still addicted to hummus. Ran out today and had to go the store to get chickpeas to replenish my stash for the week!

Mary - oh no worries! I was just curious about it. I think its great that they are taking it. I'm super excited for them! We will figure something else out.
Grocery Outlet has yummy spicy hummus... or they did. I ate way too much of it. lol

Ugh... I just watched a horrible movie. "Funny People". Bleh. I should have just gone up to my room, but the baby was sleeping in there. One of the downfalls of living with people that don't have the same standards. My ears are bleeding now, and I had to avert my eyes half the time.

I wish I liked hummus. I went to the dietitian and she gave me some great ideas on eating better and hummus is on the list. However, it's like eating chalk to me. Not sure what kind I had though.

Polly: Are you in CA now?

Julie - Nope, not yet. We are still in North Carolina, but we just moved into DH's brothers' house. If it works out, we will stay here until mid January, then move to CA. I'm really praying we can!

As far as hummus goes, I've had horrible hummus, and I've had delicious hummus.
Hmmm... speaking of... One of DH's brothers is dating a girl who is vegan. I wonder if she could eat hummus? I'm planning on cooking for everyone on a semi-regular basis, but I have no idea what to serve to accommodate her.

Nathan colored on his face with marker and said, "I want to look as good as you." I'm not sure how to take that!

She should be able to. The ingredients I put in mine are garbanzo beans, olive oil, garlic and lemon juice. I also added artichokes too.

Okay, I need some prayers. I am feeling like the worst mother today. Hannah is just pushing every button I have! She just won't listen to a word I say and her attitude...oh my goodness is it bad! She will be so gentle and sweet one second and then completely turn around and say she doesn't like me and I'm mean. I feel like I have been yelling way too much and tonight she got a butt smack for not listening about the TV and then spitting in my face. I love her but I wouldn't have minded dropping her off at my parent's for a few days!

Julie - I'm sorry you are having a rough mommy day! Prayer said! You are definitely not a bad mommy. Three year olds just like to test boundaries!

This is me today Julie, I feel so defeated today. I used to just have one sassy kid, now I have two and they feed off each other. I lost it today and locked myself in the bedroom for a few minutes. KR knocked gently on the door, "mom can I come in?" "can I make Luci and me some peanut butter sandwiches". Love how they take care of each other too.

Julie - What else did you get for eating ideas.

Matt's work had layoffs today. Not good, but he didn't get laid off. His best friend got moved though to somewhere else instead of engineering.

Heidi, she recommended I eat at least 25g of a protein per meal. I also have to cut my plate into three sections (12:00-3:00 for starches, 3:00-6:00 for meat, 6:00-12:00 for veggies) plus a serving of fruit, milk, water. She also recommended Greek yogurt and cottage cheese. I have never had Greek yogurt and I'm not a fan of cottage cheese.

On a different note....I am so livid right now! Someone stole the two light up reindeer out of my yard! Who does that!!!! Hannah loved looking at them every night and she started crying saying how much she missed them. I am so heartbroken for her.

I only started eating cottage cheese after Luci June was born. I haven't ever heard of Greek Yogurt.

I think if I merely paid attention to what I put in my mouth I would be fine. That and if I exercised every time I felt like stuffing my face when the kids stress me out.

I'm sorry about your reindeer, that's truly stinky.

how do people live with themselves when they do things like that? How can you celebrate the Christmas spirit with stolen things? ugh. I'm sorry that happened Julie.
