KC got home early today (and was still paid for the full 10 hours!) and was so excited about his van. I went down to see it with him and it is chock FULL of brand new tools. He has been making do with the bare minimum until now because we just couldn't afford to get him all the tools he needed, much less some of the ones that simply make the job easier. I think he feels like a kid on Christmas. I mean everything from a $3000 work laptop to a water jug that they provide ice everyday for.

I'm so happy for my DH. This company seems to really care about retaining their employees and treating them right. I'm happy to see my husband in a job where he is appreciated and treated fairly. I think he has been beaten down so low this year. I this job is going to make a big difference for him, and in effect, our relationship.

Bleh. Yeah you guys were right. Should've quit while I was ahead (if that was even the case to begin with). I need to learn to stop BEFORE I feel like screaming.

I am sad for the women going through hard times in their marriages. My heart goes out to them. I'm sad for a culture that thinks "for better or worse" has a limit. I'm sad and angry at men who treat their wives so terribly. I'm sad that Christianity is apologized for and watered down. I'm sad that we, as a religion, look so fractured in front of unbelievers instead of unified. And I'm sad that I contributed to that.

    Me too...
do you realize how much aid and welfare could be eliminated if men just treated their women like Christ treats the church! Im mean not all... people will still have trials, but man... there would be alot more kids with daddies, and alot less single moms needed help.
