Lol I was wondering about my iron too, my midwife told me to wait a week, that it was probably left over holiday tiredness or a baby growth spurt... (Im not a happy camper while taking iron so I was happy to wait)!

Thanks for the prayers. I've prayed for you all, too. I hope that you pregnant ladies have more energy soon
    .
I found out last night that I am pregnant again! This was somewhat of a surprise (a welcome one) but we have some tough decisions to make now. We really don't have room where we are right now and we are here essentially rent free.

Thanks ladies! We have space problems because we are still at my mom's. The kids are in one bedroom and we are in another. We can't fit another bed really anywhere and we don't cosleep.

DeeDee - its good to see you pop back in! Hope everything is going well for you.
Jessica - well the good thing about babies is they don't need much room for a while. Can you fit a small pack n play or anything, while you figure out what to do? Are bunk beds an option?
    And how are you feeling?

I can't believe I only have 6 weeks left either! It still hasn't quite sunk in.

Both of my kids are still in cribs but we plan to move my first to a bed this summer. I'm not sure how my second would do in a bed (he is a climber so might be climbing out by then anyway - he'll be 21 months when this newest one is born). Bunk beds would let us get a crib in there, though. If we have a crib or PNP in our room (which we did for awhile last time) we'd have to ditch the changing table which also stores all my cloth diapers. We have no storage space here for even all of our clothes. Ugh. We are really hoping that the Lord will provide for us to be able to move out or sell our condo. The bank that holds our mortgage is finally taking us seriously and says that they will work with us in regards to our condo. We've been bothering them for a bit but because we haven't defaulted on our loan they've been putting us off. Here's hoping that they will refinance us (they have said no in the past since our condo building isn't 50% owner occupied) or approve a short sale so someone could maybe buy it with cash. We really don't want to default but also can't even sell the condo ourselves (since no one else can get a mortgage to buy it since the building isn't 50% owner occupied). Financially we are only making it because we live with my mom essentially rent free. If that were to end, we'd for sure default on our loan. She would be much happier about this new baby if we weren't living in her house.

Well, that ended up being quite the story.

I am just starting to feel queasy. Other than that, I'm tired and will probably get a sinus infection as my sinuses adjust to the pregnancy hormones. I got a sinus infection in the first trimester with both of my kids. I'm hoping that this will be an easy pregnancy and won't aggravate my back or the rib that I probably broke last pregnancy.

I am a notorious worrier. I have hanging at my desk at work "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble" (Matthew 6:33/34) Kudos to you Jessica for being so proactive with your bank! It seems so many people just give up because the banks are so difficult. I just know everything will work out for you and your family!

Oh, and please don't find the above preachy... that verse doesn't work all the time with me either, but sometimes it helps me!

Posting that verse is a great reminder for us all - I certainly needed to hear it!

It looks like we are moving back in to our condo. Who knew that the Lord wanted us to move back in to our condo? And the bank said yes to us refinancing under normal procedures! Wow! The Lord has worked some miracles the last few days. We're actually have less space at our condo but it's all for us - we won't be sharing it with anyone else so I think that it will work out fine. Being on our own again will be good for our family and help us to put our marriage correctly in our priorities.

Jessica - Great news! Praying it all works out for your family. I think being in your own place again will be great... I know it was for us.

I'm not sure I've posted in this thread before! Anyway, jumping right in and glad I came because *I* needed that verse above today too!!

We're also moving...it's exciting and a bit jarring at the same time . DH is making a linear move within his company to a different facility so we're relocating 2.5hrs away. He starts the new position in 3-ish weeks and we're hoping to have a rental lined up for the month of March so he only has to commute for a little while (5hrs round trip every day is going to get old really fast).

The timing is interesting since I'm due with our 9th lambkin in 6wks .

We just found out Monday so it's been a little bit of a whirlwind with cleaning, packing, contacting realtors, getting pre-approved, scouring the web for rentals and/or a permanent home, getting our house ready for the market, etc...Not to mention coping with the emotions/thoughts of my sweeties, friends, and family (most of our family lives around here) while trying to maintain daily life and keep it together myself .

I've also been doing a lot of cancelling appts here and looking for new care-providers down there. I'm still planning to deliver up here but we'll see when baby decides to arrive .

God is sustaining and peace is prevailing!

So anyway, I'd appreciate prayer in regards to all of these things!! It's good to be able to connect here...we don't know anyone down there so a big prayer is that we'd get connected quickly with other believers and homeschoolers down there!

    Thanks for reading !

so I jumped back in at a great time! Congratulations jessica!! Polly and kelly are due so soon! Can't wait to see the new babies.
we are doing good here. We are setteling into our beautiful home thanks to the Lord. He has given us enough room for me to have a homeschool and play room space for the boys And another room for an office and media/man cave for my hubby. I prayed for just a separate playroom and office but the Lord gave us more and I am still so awestruck over it. Here is an old link of the home when it was staged for the parade of homes. Not sure if I showed these to you guys yet or not

during this crazy time micah had two teeth come in, he is crawling and pulling up everywhere. He is now 8 months old, where did time go! Isaiah potty trained both day and night in two days. It was so much nicer to just wait and train when he was ready then to push him early.I'm planning his third birthday soon. He wants another thomas party. So well be doing that again.

and I am pretty sure I ovulated for the first time since i got prego with micah. Well find out in two weeks. I know I am not ready for #3 yet. Though rudy ways anytime he's good to go for another one. I told him 2 1/2 more years and well ttc again.

lets see nothing else knew. Oh has anyone been to disney in CA? We are thinking on going there because they are doing a tron and cars theme and its a little more boy then the disney in Fl. How did you like it?

Perfect verse for me today! I've been so anxious about having gallbladder surgery not to mention anxiety about eating (will what I'm eating cause an attack?) and sleeping (will I wake up with an attack?). I'm trying to be more trustful!

Kelly, praying for you! Hope the transition goes well!

Brenda Congrats on getting settled! We've done Disney in CA several times, I think its great... The kids have a blast... My parents have a timeshare hotel place that we stay at so its nice to avoid the Disney hotels but they are awesome hotels if you do stay there. CA adventure has a ton of the "Cars" stuff and an entire new Cars area opening up soon, so maybe check dates to make sure your not there the week before lol... We usually try to do weekdays and a minimum of 2 days.

yeah we have been to disney in FL. But it's a little more girly. Well the one in CA is supposed to do a cars theme and they are doing tron right now. Both are Isaiah FAV!!!! So it's a little more boy oriented. Besides i've always wanted to go to CA and see the petrified tree's and stuff. We have friends in AZ we may go visit to.

So I must have ovulated because AF showed with full force yesterday. It's the first AF after getting prego with Micah. So first AF in what....18-19 months. So YAY for that. I started with AF around this time after Isaiah was born too. So we have to be careful now for sure. Because it looks like i'm ovulating all over the place right now. May take some time to get back into sync. Since we do NFP w/condoms I have to watch my O date.

Amanda-how are you doing with the twins? settled into some sorta routine? Is it easier/harder then you expected?

Micah is doing so well now. We had such a rough start with him but right around the 5 month mark he really started settling into his own cuteness. He's now soooo happy. Considering how sensitive he was to everything when he was first born I was nervous that he wouldn't be a silly and happy as Isaiah. But actually he is. He's sweet and happy. He stopped hating the carseat right around 3-4 months old. So thats much nicer to have a quite ride everywhere. He loves my back carrier. It's just great.

well got to go off to the inlaws.

Brenda, glad to see that you are settling in nicely. I could not see the house on the link, but the houses on the website look beautiful! I can't believe Micah is already 8 months old! That is great that Isaiah PTed in 2 days! DS1 is 3 years, 3 months and is very resistant to PTing. He will out of nowhere tell me he does not want to use the potty. It's tough having 2 in diapers.

I am struggling right now with my church. We have an interim pastor still, and I just can't get into the sermons. I feel nothing. We love our church community, so we don't want to leave, but I almost feel like I have no motivation to go on Sundays. Today, the pastor was talking about faith and jumping around the Bible and reading his sermon, and all I could think about was DS2 down in the nursery, wondering if he was ok, and when I got word he was not, I was not at all disappointed that I had to leave. Anyone else ever go through that?

Isaiah was resistant to potty training to. But I just kept working him up to a goal. Like I would tell him at every diaper change..by 3 you need to be in big boy underwear. Then one day I just asked him and he NO at first and then I said lets try it. and he went and it was no turning back. I did the bare bottom thing and it worked like a charm.

Oh and i saw your post on the 2 moms thing. I wanted to post here because I didn't want to keep that thread alive and well I didn't read the whole thing but i'm sure it got heated. But I wanted to tell you that if my son asked about another childs parents and they had two moms I would just simply tell him the truth. If he said does that boy have a daddy. I would say YES because he does. But I would follow up with but his daddy does not live with him. He lives with his mommy. And see where that takes it. If he says but he has two mommies. I would just tell him the truth about the situtaion. Then we would read about what the bible says about that. Then go from there. Isaiah's uncle has a boyfriend. Though we do not see them because they live far away. He hasn't asked yet but when he does we will tell him the truth.

Quite honestly, I don't know anyone whose favorite part of church is the sermon. Our (full time) pastor is hit or miss with his messages. He is so nice and means well so you have to like the guy anyway. For me, church is more about congregating with other believers, praising God, and getting that support from that small community (especially living in a bigger city/suburb). The sermon doesn't really hit any of those 3 for me. It is supposed to help your faith grow, but there are other ways to get that (Bible studies - personal/group, Sundays/not), scripture reading... I get a mini-lesson of the day to read in my e-mail, helps refocus my attention some days to what is really important.

So no, you are most definitely not alone!

IDK, with our old pastor, my favorite part was the sermon. I felt the Holy Spirit just working and in our presence every time he spoke. I miss that.

I know I should be more a part of the church community, but I am pretty shy. Plus all the groups meet when I am caring for my children. My babysitting options are pretty limited.

DH and I got together with an elder this weekend, and that was really beneficial. I just feel like it is easy to find excuses to not to go to church on Sundays when I am not that eager to hear the sermon.
