Thank you! Dave looked at a wedding picture as we were..*gasp* unpacking more stuff last night! He said, "I think you look bigger in this picture." I was 9 lbs heavier than I am now!

    Woohooo!

Is the extra storage space helping?

I've got about 15 lbs to go for pre-Haleigh, and 20 until I reach my goal. I have a feeling I'll be packing on some pounds this holiday season.

    Yay, thats awesome!

Tonight Tristyn prayed for dinner, and she stopped in the middle and said, "Mommy make sure you tell Jesus thank you for me because He made me very very special" She's awesome!

    Katie - that's adorable.

I have 40 pounds to pre-pregnancy weight from my first kid. Sadly I have yet to see myself have the desire to do much about it.

Today I did some online shopping...it's so stressful for me. I swear I have ADD, I walk into a store and get confused over whether they will like it (whatever I am buying) and then I talk myself out of stuff because it's too much. Seriously I get stressed, I don't know how I am going to make it through this season.

Polly - I love that you and KC look so happy in that picture.

That is too cute. DS was "petting" a friend of his today. His idea of a "gentle pat" is smacking them in the face. Had to rescue her and explain gentle AGAIN. I hope he gets it by the time he gets married!

Kris - no worries, I LOVE stuff like that. More on the jazzy side for me though... lots of Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum, and Norah Jones on my itunes!

Heidi - Thanks about the picture As for Holiday shopping, does shopping online help? I never used to get anxious about holiday shopping until DH. He is hard to please! But no money this year anyway, so there is some silver lining to it. lol

I'm trying to bargain with him now. I told him if we move back to CA that will be my Christmas present for the next 2 years... plus he can have a years worth of an online game he loves and a blackberry. HA! He is thinking it over.

Fallenstar - (am I allowed to use your real name or not?) Well at least he is trying. Emma is a tough cookie, I'm sure she can handle it. lol

This is completely off topic and random.

I'm sad that Mike Huckabee will probably never become president or even be able to run for prez again. I'm sure you've heard about the man who killed 4 cops in Washington state and how as a juvenile a sentence of his was muted (is that the right word) because of his age. A sentence of 100 years was reduced to 4 or something. Anyway.... it was Huckabee who muted the sentence. At least that's what I've heard.

    Anyway....

Woah... no, I hadn't heard about that. (but I hardly ever pay attention to the news, we don't have tv and I forget to look it up online. lol)
That is sad. I like Huckabee!

I am excited! KC called and said he is sick of this job and is willing to move back to CA!! He will be calling an old job contact today, and I just sent his resume to a Home Theater Installation company. (He has been wanting to do that for YEARS, I am PRAYING they hire him!)

Money is so tight, I'm not sure how we will manage to move. But I trust that if we are in God's will, He will lead the way. We will probably need to stay for a couple months to get everything set up and ready, but still! A light at the end of the tunnel!

(fallenstar - not a WORD of this to anyone in CA yet! Shhhhh!)

Oh man that stinks... I really like him. His show on fox is so so good. The other night he had the parents of that reporter who was murdered on the show and it was just amazing to hear her mother speak about the lord even with everything she has been through... and then he had a christian band play after.

I know. I like him, too. I wonder if he'll address the whole thing on his show. Of course I don't have cable, so I couldn't watch it. lol

I guess we'll see how things develop.

The plans are in effect. We will probably have to move out of our place this weekend and into his brothers house. No money for rent. *sigh* Not excited about living at BILs house.

The spring semester starts mid January, and that is prime time to get interpreting jobs. So we will try to push through until then. Hoping KC can find a job before we move back.

I know this is what I wanted, but lack of money is making it stressful. Bleh!

Polly -- Online shopping helps to a certain extent. I just think it needs to be a "couple" thing when it comes to his family, but I end up doing it all myself. I don't enjoy shopping when it's not Christmas so I just get so stressed.

Three years ago today (12/3) my water broke at 11:30 pm. Thirteen hours later (12/4) Nathan was born.

    I can't believe he's 3 already!

He does installations... Cable, Satellite, and Home Theater. He is tired of it though, he wants to go to school. Right now he is thinking of going into Computer Networking. We will see.

As for me, I just found out that I have been out of school so long that I lost my catalog rights, which means my graduation requirements have changed. So instead of needing 1/2 an algebra class (part B), now I need Algebra part B, Algebra 2, and 2 other classes. Bleh. But I'm glad we are moving back to CA so I can actually finish what I started!

    Thanks for the prayers!

Okay. I need to become more active in this room. I go to church just about every Sunday but I rarely post in here anymore. So, I'm going to go back and read these four pages so I can join in!

Okay, so I changed my mind and I'm not going to read all of the pages. Kinda of a little bit of everything. Polly, I did see that you could move back to Cali. That's awesome! I pray it all goes through.

That's awesome!!!! I'm so jealous. I'm embarrassed to admit that I hit 235 I was 161 when I got pregnant. I went to the doctors and they thought I had a thyroid problem. My labs came back abnormal but after further testing they said everything is okay but I'm still going to see an Endo. I also scheduled an appointment with a dietician on the 8th. I'm actually considering the lapband surgery and this is a step I need to take but maybe she will be able to help me. My doctor gave me a 1500 diabetic diet to follow and it makes me want to cringe!

    Julie, what's a 1500 diabetic diet? 1500 Calories?
