    Default Prepping prefolds?

Yikes...I have just over 10 weeks before they induce. I need to start washing diapers and getting things ready.

I have about 2 dozen orange edged GMD unbleached prefolds. How many times do I need to wash these and what temperature/setting? We have a front loader if that helps at all.

Do I need to use dawn at all to strip the oils out or anything special? We use All Free Clear for us and I was hoping to use this for baby clothes and diapers as well.

I boiled my PFs when I was prepping them. This is basically what I did

Aww shucks, I was hoping to not have to boil them...

I guess I'll give it a try, thanks!

Boiling is way easier IMO. If you do it in the washing mashine you'd have to do at least a few full washes in hot water. I never did it that way because I wanted to save time/water/energy. I boiled for about 15-20 minutes, then one full hot wash with no soap.

it was easier for me to wash multiple times. With boiling, I gotta wash and do it multiple times since 2 dozen can't fit in my largest pot. I just washed the PFs like I normally wash CDs...hot water and CD detergent. I forget how may times I washed.
