    I hope so too Bridget!
What is it with kids taking their shoes off in the car? Josh does it too LOL
Does anyone here like Weird Al? We just saw him in concert last night. It's the second time he's come to this little old theater in the town next door. He's awesome in concert--sounds just like on CD and he's so high energy and very funny. We had a nice dinner in a restaurant that was completely empty but the food was okay. I was looking forward to a lobster salad and they were out of lobster though

Conner has always taken his shoes off in the car...but so do Sydney & I so I guess I never thought about it much.

I've never seen Weird Al in person, but I've listened to his CD's. He is a funny man!

Wow, I didn't know they did notices like that in the paper. Good thing I'm not getting a divorce . . . I NEVER read the paper. And if I did buy one, I doubt I would read that section, LOL.

I confess Midge's birthstory makes me wish mine had gone differently. <sniff> But getting the baby OUT of my body was what terrified me most about having a child and I was too chicken to try something like a homebirth with drugs. I wonder if I'd had a glimpse of what was going to happen if I'd changed my mind.

    Congrats Midge!
I have always loved the name Charlotte and wanted to use it...until I found out what my married name would be. (same thing with Samantha....both sound when said with our last name).

OMG OMG OMG. I've been nauseated ever since I woke up today. It got so strong that I just went and looked at my chart, which I've totally ignored this month. I don't temp, but when I have I usually O around CD 19/20. DH flew in on CD 18 and we BD'd that night. If I did O on CD 19 then today would be 11 DPO.

Do you really think this could be happening right now or am I just freaking out and having phantom symptoms? I want to test but don't want to test too early.

Oooh, Gwen...wait a few days and test! I never got a positive til AF was due, so that's why I'd wait a few days.

You're right, I have to wait ... I don't think I could handle a false negative knowing we won't have another chance until next year!

I never wait! I say go buy 20 tests and take 2 daily for the next 10 days. This is speaking as someone who never had a positive test until several days AFTER AF was due. Fingers crossed for you!

Some of you may remember me posting that my friend got a call 3 years after her rape that she may need to go to court to testify against the guy??

She got a call from the DA today that she will be getting a subpoena to be in court next week!!! She's scared sh!tless, but I told her she has to do it to stop him.. or he will get away and just keep doing it.

Ash, I'm sorry for your friend, but I hope she gets some closure or satisfaction out of it. I was raped at 16 and the main regret I had afterward was that I wished I'd been able to save other girls from him.

I think this is the exact reason I feel like I need to encourage her to testify... Because I was too concerned with getting in trouble for being drunk ( I was 18) than reporting it when I was raped...

Sorry for your friend, Ashley, but I do hope she can help prevent other girls from being in that same spot.

And to you Ashley and Lydia.

I was at my parents all afternoon and evening and it's too late now to go buy tests. I'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow AM and maybe go buy a box tomorrow afternoon. Then see how long I can hold out.
