DH is being an incredible asshole. This is the whining I was trying not to do last week, but he is at it again and I just can't hold it in. He is snapping at us and yelling, or ignoring every word I say, and just being generally crappy. He was like this the WHOLE vacation and now as soon as its the weekend he is 'grumpy and tired' (his words). FINE. Be grumpy and tired, but either FAKE being a normal human being or get out of the house and let Norah and I enjoy ourselves. ARRRRRRRRRRRG.

I confess that my friend and her boyfriend are coming to hang out for the day. I asked them yesterday if they wanted to come over for dinner and they said yes. She called this morning to tell me that she couldn't come because they had no gas. So, it only ended up costing me ten dollars to have company for the day.

Oh, Maggie. I know the feeling, and I know how it must be to get to the point of actually saying something about him. When my dh gets like that, it's frequently work-related and I end up taking the twins and leaving the house, or sending him to the bedroom to get some "me" time. But I still get huffy about it. I hope everything is okay.
I thought of Janeen when I saw this, but I thought I'd share with everyone. I don't know if any of you all developed a crush on Nathan Fillion in Serenity (although he's not appealing to me at all in Castle), but he was in a PG Pron film with an adult film star. I confess that I watched porn last night.I usually can't stand porn, but this movie was fairly ok. I think it was aimed at women.

It was a pain when we were really TTC with charting and all that and the months I was on clomid and having ultrasounds.

Well, I'd have to explain a way TMI story about our struggles with sex for anyone to really understand why it pissed me off, but it's not worth it.
It just pissed me off because it seemed (in my little paranoid mind) an awfully big mind f*** that he's supposedly horny all the time and then when I'm horny, he's not.
I confess I just chatted with a friend for like 15 minutes about mundane stuff and after all that she said "Bill (her husband) moved out today..." Just like that, oh by the way. I was like WHAT!
I knew they weren't doing well, but it seemed like they were going to stay together for the sake of the kids. She had just talked to me a couple days ago, when I was thinking of leaving DH, and she said she was sad she'd never have that happy marriage she always wanted, but that she had filled her life with other things, so it didn't bother her as much. That made me sad, that she had to fill her life with other things so her bad marriage wouldn't be such a big deal. I hope she'll be happier on her own (assuming it isn't just temporary).
Things are better now. Thanks for letting me vent. I know everyone has their moments, I know I can, but its very frustrating that his seem to be concentrated when we have family time to spend together. He is going out to watch a hockey game with some friends. Even though we were getting along better by this evening, I'm kind of pumped to have the night alone here (as long as Norah decides to sleep...so far so good).

I confess that my dh has had too much to drink tonight and I don't like it. I don't like the slurring of words, and the overwhelming smell of booze. I grew up with an alcoholic father and this just brings back bad memories. Though dh is a "nice" drunk and my dad was not, it still bugs the living crap out of me.
Sorry Jenny. I've learned that DH doesn't know when to stop and now I cut him off. It really bugs me too. DH is not a nice drunk.
Nathan Filion and bad porn acting. Love it. Even DH leaned over to see what it was about (he loves good ole Malcome Reynolds, too). Was NOT expecting that kind of ending.

I tried to see in on Friday, but we saw the 3D and I had to leave an hour in because I got motion sickness or something. I tried to stay, but realized that I didn't want to watch the whole movie with the popcorn bag in my lap "just in case"

I loved Avatar, as well. No 3D here for me... I'm not a fan of those. I get too distracted and end up not paying attention to the story.
I haven't seen Avatar, and I don't even really want to. I'm not sure why, but it just doesn't seem appealing to me. But EVERYONE I know (here and IRL) seems to think its so amazing. So I think I just need to go.

Me too. DH and I had a date night and he wanted to go see it so bad. He couldn't understand why I didn't want to go. I made him go with his mom instead.
