I think they are both cute suits! I think that if you really like the 1st one and don't mind stitching the straps, that could work. If it were me I probably wouldn't mess with it (I don't sew, even...
They're always given here, too, and I've caved because of that expectation, even though I don't like the junk that comes in them. I don't mind a few pieces of candy as a treat as long as the entire...
You made your own? What did you use? I'm very curious!
I agree with those of you who commented about hazards of using sunscreen vs. the hazards of direct sunlight. It's hard to decide what to do...
I leave Ali (3) in there while I put laundry away across the hall, pick up in the living room, etc. She makes a lot of noise singing, talking to herself that if it gets quiet I know to check on her...
I ended up buying some Banana Boat Babies--picked it up on a whim at the store the other day before checking back in here--and did a test patch on A's skin and so far, so good. But we'll go thru it...
Love this!
So I put sunscreen on Ali the other day at the park, and the next day she had totally broken out in a rash. It didn't itch or hurt, but it looked terrible. I feel terrible because once I figured out...
With Madison I worked our way up to it...she started with one wipe (after I wiped for her), then progressed to 2 wipes, then 3...eventually she was comfortable wiping herself. I think she was in her...
Good point. Definitely explain to your youngest never to touch the lamp...even when it's turned off (no gray area that way). My 3 y/o understands and has never tried to touch it.
Even better, if...
My girls also share a room, and are in bunks as well. Most of the time they go to sleep really well...they both have reading lights and are in bed by 8 (usually) and will read/look at books until...
Not sure. I'm more comfortable with the idea of sending my 7 y/o daughter into the women's alone (if she were with DH, of course if I were there we'd go together) thank I think I would be sending a 7...
Never having seen a man in the women's with his little girl, I can honestly say I've never even thought about this. The initial though makes me a little uncomfortable, but the more I think about it I...
We don't pray...we're non-religious so it's not part of our mealtime routine. We have been at others' homes (my in-laws mostly, and some friends) where they pray before dinner. My MIL says a...
We have the Maestro and I remember researching boosters and thought that this type was a very good price with good reviews...if you like the Maestro you have I'd honestly just get another one. I'm...
It sounds like you've found so many positive things that you may have gotten lucky with that school! I don't think it's necessary to shop around any more if you have an overall good vibe. Good luck!
That's a lot to think about--or re-think, since as you said things in the report aren't really a surprise. That's great, though, that she's doing so well in school! It sounds like her environment is...
Not that this thread really needs an update, but I think we worked out a solution for the time of being. Baby will be in the office...no painting needed b/c of the color scheme and the fact that the...
I hope you get some answers asap. Those symptoms sound worrisome, and are definitely worth getting a second opinion as soon as you can. Good luck!

Lots of good info here describing what all...
That's horrifying...I can't even imagine going through something like that. All because they want what's best for their baby. Sheesh.
When the Parks & Rec summer program books came out a couple weeks ago I got really excited and started dogearing pages like crazy. Then I added up the cost--even park district programs, which are...
Glad to hear you have an answer...and I know what you mean about school age arriving too quickly!
I agree. Being cautious is one thing...being crazy overprotective is another. For the record, dd's school also has only 1 recess each day for 30 minutes after lunch. They do have PE every day.
Thanks!!
