DD1 is strawberry blond, red in some light. It's been the same color since she was born.
DD2 has dark brown hair like I do.
DH is blond, with a red beard. My mom is a redhead, as was her father.
I do. I want her to be confident about her appearance. I also tell her how smart she is, how funny, and kind, silly, clever... etc. I praise her any chance I get. I recently saw someone post a quote...
Normal. My dd once went something like 10 days once. Prepare for a poopsplosion .
Why don't you don't just ask the hostess? I can't imagine she would be offended.
Me :)
I read a TON of books (Dr Sears, Ina May, a book called Birth Skills by juju sundin that I really liked...,) took a birth class, had a solid birth plan and made sure the nursing staff knew...
My half sister sounded completely tone deaf until she was 7 or 8 years old (her father is most definitely tone def, as are his two other daughters) but she has a sweet singing voice now!
My dd has...
The smaller the fish the lower the mercury level. I never limit my small fish consumption, but bigger fish (like tuna) I would only eat a small amount a once or twice a week.
This. I would take his opinions into consideration, but if he had no other reason than he thought it was gross, I would not wean based on that. I'll always listen to his ideas, but breastfeeding is...
The only way to know is to take a test. It's important to find out early, so that you can either start on prenatal vitamins and see a doctor to keep your baby safe/healthy, or make other plans. If...
I've told my almost three year old that there are some times that I need them to help stay clean/keep my underwear clean. She was satisfied with that response.
What a sweet heart!
I agree with the other gals. Your pedi is an idiot, very obviously uneducated about breastfeeding, and breastfed babies.
Make some cloth diapers and wipes! Make some decorations for the baby's room (with DD1 I painted a bunch of different animal pictures and made a cross stitch blanket to go on the wall.) Sew some burp...
We also do toy timeout when she refuses to clean up something that we've asked her to more than a few times. It goes out of reach for the rest of the day.
Yup. I just always warn her that she will need to clean it up after, which can sometimes be a struggle.
I don't think they would be anywhere near that size yet. Sorry to Aaron, but I'd say its still 50% 50% ;)
This. It's technically possible, but I would say reeeeeeeeeally unlikely.
DD eats a TON of yogurt. Generally she'll eat two of the Trader Joe's brand "go-gurts" in a tube a day, and those are 2%. She also drinks a fair amount of milk, and she just drinks the 1% we have for...
I flew from Nevada to Florida by myself from about 7-17 years old, every summer. They have specific escorts to get you to and from flights, and rooms where you're kept supervised in between flights....
I was constantly 2-3 weeks ahead with DD, and I was induced at 42 weeks. She was almost 10 pounds.
This time around I'm measuring 1-2 weeks ahead.
I don't have GD, nor did I with DD1.
Both spotting and cramping are common in early pregnancy. Personally, I had terrible cramping all through the first trimester and well into the second with both pregnancies. I know how nerve wracking...
As terrible a decision as it is, I would not hesitate to have an ectopic pregnancy terminated.
This is from the Mayo Clinic (a very well respected institution):
"An ectopic pregnancy can't...
ITA with the other ladies, not a good idea!
I wish we could though, I'm leaking now too, and with my supply issues last time around it would be so fantastic to have a head start on a stash!
Try not to worry, the 3D pics can have all kinds of weird anomalies and shadows on them. Bring up your concerns with your Doc. but my guess is that everything is fine!
