I use a homemade moby wrap type carrier. I love it and use it all the way up to about 10 or so months. It is a lot easier on my shoulders since they start to ache quickly from narrow straps.

That's how I started training my son :) I think it's funny and cute! Any time I have to potty (which is a lot since I'm pregnant) I take him too and it has worked out very well. :)

It could also be a tongue tie. If he has that and it is left uncut, he would most likely develop a lisp from that. But if it isn't he will probably outgrow it :)
