i was induced at 35 weeks for low fluid and everything went perfectly fine, baby was perfect, no nicu stay or anything, also ended in vaginal birth... my second was also an induction at 40 weeks and...

I agree with this... I would also go see a child counselor or therapist and ask their opinion on how to handle the issue.
