When DS1 was a newborn-toddler, before DS2 was born, I would have anxiety over being home with him. WHen I was on Maternity Leave with him, I would count down the hours DH would be home from work. ...
With DS1, it was about 3 months. I gained 28 pounds, and then at 2.5 months, I had to cut out dairy and I lost the last 10 pounds.
DS2, 2-3 months. 8.5mths pp, and I'm now 5 lbs below my starting...
We decided to start DS1 in a 2 year old preschool program once a week for 2.5 hours. He's not around other kids all day (with my mom and step-father), so we wanted that extra socialization.
At 3,...
We always wanted a boy then a girl. DH wanted a big brother to take care of his little sister. Knowing that there is a chance of a genetic "issue" (which DS2 has), we've been playing roulette with...
Yippee!!!!!!!! :)
Good luck tomorrow!!!
P.S. I signed in just to check on you :)
Our oldest is only in Preschool (1 day a week) right now, but as he and his brother get older, they will be with my mom like they currently are when he doesn't have class.
I would give it to my DS (22 months) bc he's a picky eater and doesn't eat a lot of dinner as it is. Anytime he wants a healthy snack, I give it to him. If it is a snack food instead, I try to...
DS started taking steps a week after his 1st birthday and was pretty good on his own by 13 months.
Loved the boppy for nursing and tummy time. DH used it too for feedings.
Swing with plug in adapter.
Bumbo - used it from 1 month through at least 9-10 months or whenever he could try to get out....
Our u/s for DS1 and baking DS2 were blatenly obvious that they were boys. Plus the amnio and cvs confirmations didn't hurt either lol
I'm a mix of Pajama Mom, Cell Phone Mom, Photo Mom, Peter Pan Mom (except lately while being preggo), and Super Friendly Mom.
Roughly twice a week. Sometimes we aren't hone in time for a bath. If he's outside playing or doing arts and crafts, it'll be more often.
21.5 months.
My DH was definitely on board with nursing till a year and he didn't seem to mind when I went past it, but i think he was ready for me to wean when DS started cutting back a lot and also bc I was...
Lots and lots of :hugs: :(
OMG Rachel! I didn't even know till I saw BFing post in Dec lol
Congrats!!
Guess you've now been pregnant for 2009-2013
Oh and DS1 measured 4 days ahead and DS2 is measuring on target.
They didn't tell me how much DS1 weighed, but they estimated 7lb 8oz at birth and he was 7lb 8oz, even being almost 2 weeks late.
This time, around 16-18 weeks, they estimated that DS2 was 60th...
J's hair is really thin, so we can't do much to it. We've cut it 4 times since July (including tonight). We try to cut it when he looks like a child of the 70s.
We will be starting sometime after the baby is born and then at least after he is 2. He's nowhere near ready (21 months) - doesn't tell us when he has to go, doesn't mind a wet/dirty diaper, etc...
Thanks for the input. I was just getting frustrated this morning b/c I felt he wanted something to eat - he was doing his usual "more" and walking to the kitchen, which in the past is how he tells...
I know this has been asked plenty of times, but it's a common issue...
How should I approach giving DS foods? He used to eat almost anything we gave him, but now he doesn't want things he once...
Jason is DS and so far we picked Aaron for DS2.
When I was the age 3-8, I was in love with a kid names Patrick Riley - when we were 8, I told him I wanted to have his babies when we were older
