Oh I'm so glad to hear that. It will nice to be in the 2WW with someone, even if it's not exact!

Hahaha Karen, me too :)
Thank you ladies for your concern. I’m still in a lot of pain! It’s amazing what women have to endure. I always ask my DH, why can’t you get pregnant?!? Ok, I’m not going to complain anymore because I’m trying to think positive and I’m hopeful that tomorrow I will have the perfect embryo attach and grow into a healthy baby.
Helene, good luck with POAS! I’m kind of with Rhonda, BFN are so heartbreaking that I still haven’t decided if I will, or if I’ll wait for the blood test on 3/29.
Heather, how did your test go? I also couldn’t do acupuncture because my phobia in life is needles.
Dont be scared of acupuncture! It is sooo easy and very very relaxing! The needles are as thin as a strand of hair so if they put 10 in, you will only feel 2 and when I say feel, its the slightest little pinch, you wont even flinch (lol) I love love it and feel like it helps in so many ways with just your overall health. It gets the blood moving. You will love it. ;-)
Hi Everyone,
Looks like I'm moving over here now. I'm at the end of cycle #4 TTC with at-home inseminations and it's just not working.
I met with a RE last week and he has high hopes for IUIs. He thinks if I am not pregnant with two IUI cycles then we should start testing for tube blockages, etc.
I am due for AF tomorrow so I am counting down! T-15 days until my first IUI!
My meds will be delivered on Friday! :hooray: I am so glad DH works for the govt and we have good insurance.
Ok, I hope someone is on right now that can answer my question. I have to put my Prometrium in tonight, anyone have any advice? How far up there does it need to go? Will I feel it in there? Anyone??
Honestly, you just shove it up there. Mine didn't have an applicator of any sort. I'd say my finger followed it in probably half way.
You shouldn't really feel it after it's inserted. A couple of times I had to push it up further because I didn't get in far enough the first time.
My advice is to wear a pad.
Ya, all I got is my finger to. ok now the stupid question why do I need a Pad?
Well I found a new RE that gave me a new plan with no hope. I will be starting another round of injectables, and planning for another IUI. This month he is changing me to Bravelle, and he is increasing the dose. I am waiting for day 1. Anyone ever taken Bravelle?
Happy St. Patrick's Day! :luck:
:welcome: Kat! Why wouldn't they do an HSG to check for blockages BEFORE going through the expense of IUI's?Quote:

:welcome: jray! What were you on before?
Winter - I've never used it before so I wouldn't know. :chinscratch:
Speaking of progesterone suppositories... I'll be on Endometrin. Does this mean that there can be no BDing during the 2ww?
nostoppingme - you really think this time will work? I did another POAS today and still BNF?? But thanks for cheering for me :)
Purple avens - how do you sleep or manage at all? AND still be so positive you are truly amazing... I will most certainly look for you in need of positive attitude !!
Funny my dh asked me yesterday if I started POAS... I didn't even think he was worried about it... and he said "SO!!" and I said nothing it's still too early... funny how I though I was kinda alone in this... it's nice to see he cares...
ClarisseMarie - I agree with Cynderella, Acupuncture is amazing. I fall asleep each time and when I drive back home I forget everything even what my dh asked me to get on the way home ops!! It's just amazing... give it a try girl.
SRH - look at the happy girl... way to go for your meds to be there this week... and yay for insurance... that's the least we deserve when we pay so much in taxes :)
AFM - I got a phone interview at 11am... wish me luck cause my job that was to pay my rent is now done (they don't want to pay me anymore) so extra $$$ would really help.

Yeah I hope so too!! I am thinking maybe a month or two more on the Clomid and than I am going to a specialist to discuss other options. I am afraid of staying on the Clomid too long, I don't want to cause more issues to affect our chances...
I have really high hopes for the Injects for you!! :hooray: Be sure to keep me posted (even though you aren't on Clomid anymore :winks: )
We are within a few days of eachother, so we get to share our woe's & anxieties! Stacie is also a cycle buddy. Can't remember who else, but seems there is another!
I feel awful for you about the pain, but I'm so excited for you on the other hand!!! LOL:winks: If guys could get pregnant, there would be a lot of "only child" situations! You WILL have a perfect...no, SEVERAL perfect embryo's tomorrow! I can't wait to hear the report. :babydance: Oh, and the needles with acupuncture are so thin that you can't feel them. If you feel anything, it is a tiny prick at most. Nothing like giving injections or having blood drawn :pokey:. Acupuncture is relaxing & really gets the blood flowing. You're missing out!!
My girl!!! I'm an acupuncture junkie:crazy:!!
Massage is good too! Especially if you have your scalp and feet massaged. Those areas give the greatest effect for releasing tension & stress.
:cabbage: Yay for getting meds on Friday! It must be nice to have good coverage also!
Yes, yes, yes! I hope & PRAY it does. I know you are comforted by the fact that you have more embryo's frozen to fall back on, but I really hope you can save those for ANOTHER pregnancy:wub:.
Lots of :babydust1::stickyvibes::babydust1: to you this week!
Oh, and much :luck: on the interview today! :winks:
10 more days until I start Lupron! I'm on a countdown!! Oh, and I lost 2.6 pounds since Friday (probably mostly water weight). My goal is 2 pounds a week until stims, so I'm on target. 145 pounds, here I come!
Will do! Happy St. Patty's Day!
Well, I'm outta the clomid game. DH and I have decided to stop the medical treatments for the time being and get our family healthy. I'll continue seeing my chiro and I'll probably pick temping back up so I can see what my body is doing. But I'll probably be doing some detoxing/cleansing for a few cycles before jumping back into trying. I'm still going to stalk like crazy though!!! :hugs:
It doesn't cover IVF but our insurance is good for covering labs, u/s, and meds. I expected the meds to be twice what it turned out to be. Every little bit helps. :winks:
I start Lupron on the 25th. Congrats on the weight loss! :hooray:
Tell me about it!! I have the same coverage (meds, labs, u/s and other diagnostic tests) so I can relate to the amount of help that is in the overall IVF costs. I pay about 6k out of pocket per cycle after my coverage. That is much more affordable than 10k plus 2500-5000 for drugs!!
Yay!!! We are both ready to rock & roll!! :hooray:
I was on follistim for 3 months, new RE said he was changing my meds just because he can and change is good
My update: Xposted in stc-a
Went in for my iui this morning & dh's post wash count went from 150 million last month to 4.4 million (prewash 78mill)this month. They had to add some sort of solution to it as well b/c the motility was below 50%(38) & they brought it up to 57%.
He started a thyroid med 2 months ago & we asked the old RE if it would mess w/ his count & we were told NO..... He is borderline needing the med so his dr said he didn't have to take it but since we thought it wouldn't hurt then why not.
She said his semen was really thick as well & he had a lot of white cells. They are sending it off for testing & said he may have a uti.
She did act like the 4.4 mill were good but would they really be if she had to add a solution to them??!? They even said no intercourse tonight unless we use a condom. Also she said she knew that at least 4 of my 6 eggs were good & had released.
In addition, in the collection room there is a paper on the wall that lists meds men should not be on. It lists most of the ingredients in the thyroid med. I'm so pissed at that other re right now. As of this month we have started charging all of this to our home equity line of credit. Cannot afford to keep doing this. We owe about $2000 right now.

Way to go girl. I am finally below 125 lbs today. 124.8 (not by much) but I would like to be just like 2 more pounds less before I know if it worked or not so I start eating properly again. I miss the juck boy... I have been careful since last August it's getting annoying :winks:

Hi Girls,
Sorry I haven't been on in a long time. My blood work came back good. No autoimmune diseases or Thyroid issues. We have decided after the 5th unsuccessful IUI that we would like to take a leap into the IVF world! So we'll start the first phase of it at the end of this month with birth control. I promise I will check in from time to time and you can always find me in the IVF sisters. I'm hoping to graduate from that forum in a couple of months! I wish and pray for each of you that you will have your little babies soon!
With Love,
Carri
Hi Girls!
My name is Carri, my DH is Josh. We have been TTC for the past 8 years. We just completed our 5th unsuccessful IUI two weeks ago. And have finally decided to leap into the IVF world. I'll be starting B/C at the end of the month and hopefully have a little baby growing inside me in 2 months! This is our first time so please be patient with ignorant questions and incorrect lingo ;-)
I'll be visiting hopefully daily if I can and hope to get to know each of you and see you each graduate from the IVF forum ;-)
