Updates!
How is everyone doing? Any movements? When is your big scan? Anything new?
Doing great over here. My belly has plenty of bruises and they hurt like h3ll when I accidentally bump into them. I am feeling more and stronger movements. S/he likes bumping my bladder and laying on vessels/nerves. We have our big scan on the 6th so 20 more days to go and it just keeps draging by. Ugh. Well the only thing new which is not new... I am sick and tired of the constant weather change we have seen winter spring and almost summer this week. :headbang:

I am starting to finally feel better. I haven't had to take a Zofran since last Friday and just been managing the little bit of nausea with gum and snacks. No Zofran means that my constipation is also getting better so I hope that I can stop the stool softener soon. I do have heartburn mostly in the evenings but two Tums seem to be just fine at this point. I'm still tired but we've had non stop illnesses this year and I'm not sure how much of it is leftover from the flu or whichever cold.
I feel the baby moving a lot now but really only when I am still. I've been able to feel movements with my hand, too, which I love! My next appointment is Tuesday and I should get the order for my ultrasound then.

So sharing a bit of love from my son... He came up and patted my belly and said "Hi baby, I love you" I have one amazing son. I think it is finally clicking that there is something in mommy's belly and its not just going to stay there. I just wonder how long this will last before he begins freaking out.

Hey girls, thanks for the updates. Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I have had a bit of roller coaster week. Ended up at the hospital on Monday with some bleeding. It turns out I have a cervical erosion. I had a scan on Tuesday morning and everything is fine with bubba, so fingers crossed it was a one off. I also have a UTI, so am going for some antibiotics tomorrow. I thought I was having an easy time of it but maybe not!. Can't believe we are approaching the mid way mark. It's really sinking in now, especially now that I can feel him moving about.
Take care everybody xxx

Hey ladies.. I always love hearing updates! As for my feeling much better and so much hungrier too:bellyrubs:! Went for an appointment today and my OB says it looks lk a gir:hooray:l! So exciting but since I am only 16.3 weeks today says its still a little early to say for sure.. but we did see the 3 little lines and no boy parts so lets keep our fingers crossed. DS is sooo excited and really wants a sister:wub:! I will definitely go pink crazy since we lost our other lil girl Emily:angel: to miscarriage last MAy... But the main thing is that our lil one is healthy! Our lil one is very active doing somersaults and flips especially when I am getting settled in for the nite!

Glad everyone seems to be doing well! I figured some U/S's will be coming up next week! So excited. Am doing good here. Just tired and a little head cold, right in times for Valentine's day and my birthday tomorrow, of course, ugh. Hunger also really picked up.
Had a friend ask yesterday if I was pregnant after looking at my belly, yay! I'm so ready for it to look round and baby-like and not just like I'm getting winter weight.

So glad to hear everyone is doing well!! Thank God!
Baby and I are doing great. I have to post my latest bump pic! I'm huge! I saw my midwife on Tuesday and I've gained 11 pounds so far and I swear all 11 pounds are in my boobs and stomach. We scheduled our big ultrasound for March 7. Still team green though.
DH decided he really doesn't want to name the baby Kevin. I had wanted to name him (if it's a boy) Kevin for my cousin who passed away but I can't ask DH to name his child a name he doesn't like. We're leaning toward Caden for a boy and Luci for a girl.
I hope everyone continues to feel good. Can't believe by next month we'll know what most of us are having!

everything is good. Movement is there, but I have to sit still to feel it and its not regular/consistent. I have an appt Monday morning and my big level 2 ultrasound Monday afternoon so I am anxious for all of the above...just wish I knew what I was having.....
Good to hear everyone is doing so well :)

I'm so glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing well :). I'm doing pretty well for the most part. As hard as it is, i'm just getting used to the fact that i'm going to be so miserable for the next 4 1/2 months LOL. The constant headaches are horrible and I don't want to take tylenol all the time. Is anyone else getting terrible leg/foot cramps every night? I still have morning sickness just about every morning and waves of nausea most of the day. My sweet little angel is very active and has been giving me lots of kicks and strong nudges. She had a few days in a row where she didn't move much at all, I told her when I see her she's in trouble LOL. She has gotten to where she responds to DH  he was laying on my belly last night talking to her and she kept kicking/nudging him. The sea of pink has started to invade our house and I couldn't be happier. I'm finding it difficult not to buy everything in the store. I cant wait until we find out what everyone is having

With my first I got leg cramps each night until I started eating one banana a day (and I do not like bananas). If I missed a banana, I'd get a cramp that night so it was for sure a potassium issue for me even though I made sure to take my vitamins each and every day. It won't hurt to give it a shot!
I am sorry that you don't seem to be getting that second trimester loveliness. I only ever got that with my first, as well. Heartburn for me is really picking up and I'll probably have to start real medication instead of Tums soon.

I got my driver's license yesterday, so that's my biggest news. Now I can drive myself to my appointments, which is important because my husband's unit just got even more short-staffed. (One of his soldiers has been hospitalized.)
I've been in pain on my left side and back for almost 24 hours. I bought a new maternity support belt in the right size and the ladies at the shop predicted I'm not going to get much bigger. Got a number of comments today that I don't look pregnant at all, so that took some of the wind out of my "I finally popped" sails. I'm thinking some of the pain must be gas pains and wondering if I need to go back to my 2 prilosec a day that the doc prescribed while I was sick. I'd rather need none, but my acid reflux is still awful. Leroy still makes me feel nauseous when I try to eat fruit and veg. I'd hoped to crave healthier food by now. I've gained 2 pounds, so I'm at -9 total for my pregnancy.
Next pre-natal is 2/21 and u/s is 2/26.

Im sorry I've been MIA. Ever since they updated this site I've been unable to log in. But I got it today! Things are well here. I'm down to one or two zofrans a day(still not brave enough to go cold turkey)My appetite is strong. I feel small movements I think, but nothing I'm positive about being movement. I'm growing. I can't hide it anymore. Sure, some is still bloat, but I feel hard belly under my belly button so I know it's baby there! I dug out all my maternity clothes. I have an appt on Monday the 25th and we will schedule my u/s at that appt. since ill be almost 18 weeks at my next appt I don't think they'll make me wait another month! DH is finally excited. He talks about it more. He still gets scared about finances and shuts down and won't talk about baby because of it, but what can ya do? Just deal with it! Plan the best we can now to avoid problems later. My biggest concern now is finding a daycare....

I had my big u/s last week, and posted in a new thread. In other exciting news, I bought a couple new bras yesterday and they fit!!! I didn't realize how uncomfortable I was stuffing the girls into my little bras until I bought the bigger ones! Baby is moving around a lot and he was getting mad at the u/s tech last week -- I hadn't seen him move visibly until that day and he was really jabbing at her toward the end, lol! Tonight DS and I were sitting on the couch and kind of dancing to videos, and baby was dancing around in there too!

Had my pre-natal appointment today and they told me that my first trimester u/s shows I have placenta previa. So now I have my detailed u/s moved back to March 28 and my February 26 u/s will be a check-up on the previa. Kind of bummed because hubby will be out of the city on a training mission during the March 28 detailed one. Hope they get better pictures than they did on the first u/s.
-
Aww, that's too bad. Can you reschedule it for a day when DH can go?
-
I would call about rescheduling it and telling them that you want on the list for if some one cancels. :hugs: Im sorry about the previa but it can fix its self.
-
They got the dates mixed up. The Level 2 was Monday. I just wrote about it on the other thread. So, happily, he was there. The previa did fix itself, so now I can go back to thinking about my birth plans. They cancelled the March 28 one as they don't need it. I was cleared to travel to visit my sister in Nebraska next week and I hope to spend the week before Easter in my hometown while hubby is at a military school. But I have to wait for his paperwork to go through, because if he's still stuck in a tent in the field, it will be less enjoyable of a trip. :)
