Gah! Having a terrible time with posting...APA keeps logging me out when I try to post and then won't let me log back in. This is my third attempt to post this :conf:!

My temp went up today, I'm having o pain, and ewcm but bfn opk. I'm hoping for a bfp opk soon!! Either way bd will be happening a few more times this week :silly:! I was feeling discouraged when I started spotting last week but definitely feeling more optimistic now :)

I am about to give up on these OPK's they were darker yesterday but not positive and today they are light again. I feel really blah about it and not too hopeful. We are DTD a lot but with me not ovulating there is no baby getting made here. :( I go tomorrow for my pap and I hope to be able to talk to my doctor about it.

This is actually the second time I've had one. I had one previously before DS was conceived. They saw a shadow in my uterus during the HSG and wanted to do a saline sonogram to double check my uterus. It turned out to be just a shadow, but that time, the procedure was painful. I have/had a tilted cervix and they had a hard time getting a catheter to go in. They had to try a couple before finding one that worked. It wasn't very pleasant.

This time was different because the catheter went right in the first time and the whole procedure took like 10-15 minutes. It didn't feel any worse than a pap smear honestly. They found a couple small polyps this time but my RE wasn't worried. She said they are very small and not in a place where they would expect implantaion to occur, so we've got the green light for the IUI assuming the Clomid worked.

Two more days!!! I get to see the RE on Thursday to see if the Clomid is working, assuming I don't get a positive OPK tomorrow. I won't because I've never gotten a positive OPK. I tend to still O late even on Clomid, but yay that THIS wait is almost over!

Hang in there Rachel! That's exactly where I was at a few days ago...opks getting lighter after being close to as dark as the control line for a few days. My 2pm opk today was very light, I was even wondering if it was going to have a line at all but tonight's 7pm opk is darker than any I've had in 2+ days :). I think the lh can build quickly...so keep testing :cheer:! :fingerscrossed: for a bfp opk!

Yay Kelly! I think (based on opk's and some temping and a gut feeling) I o'd yesterday! When will you start testing? I want to wait as long as possible but I'm not very patient!

Also random -- I was just checking out your info and saw you're from MI? Where at in MI? I currently live in East China, MI... It's near Port Huron area... But I've lived all over the state!

Amber...My Ovulation Chart. Your chart looks great!! :fingerscrossed:! When are you starting progesterone? I think I'll start once ff gives me crosshairs and If they don't for whatever reason I'll start it 5 days after my +opk which I'll hopefully get today!

So I think I know why my period started early. I have been drinking a bunch of chamomile tea for about a week after not drinking for at least a year (actually the only other time I ever drink it is when I'm sick) and google told me last night that chamomile is really great for jump starting your period, and on the downside it can cause miscarriage. I certainly wasn't looking to get my period started early!

I'm not going to do progesterone this time. I figure if its meant to happen then it'll happen. If I do get a BFP then I'll get my progesterone level checked and if its low then I'll do supplements.

I need to see how many cheapie pregnancy tests I have....I know I have a few frer but I don't want to waste those.

Karen's temps went way down today :(

Going to get my pap this afternoon and talking to my doctor about TTC. Why I am so nervous about this?

Kelly when you conceived 5 days(? was 5 days?) before you O'd, did you end up having a boy or a girl?

Oh sheesh melturtleluv :( I'm glad you figured it out though :hugs:! :fingerscrossed: that this is your cycle!! After reading online I think I may have taken my progesterone too early last time and it prevented o...amazing how these things can throw us off just enough :conf:.

Oh...Jessie...forgot to answer your question :laugh:...I live in Jackson. We moved almost a year ago from Gladwin County where dh and I grew up. We've also lived in Midland County and in the U.P. (dh went to Michigan Tech and I attended Northern). My ds is adopted and his former foster family lives near Port Huron in Avoca. We spent a month at a camp ground called Fort Trodd off of Lapeer rd for a month during our visitation period before he was placed with us :)

Rachel...GL! I was a nervous wreck before my pre-pg consultation last month...no idea why :hugs:!!! Thinking of you!

Amber...I used to think o occurred on the first day of ewcm so that's when dh and I dtd. We have mostly girls :).

I didn't really get to talk to him much about it. :( I did tell him we are trying and that thus far my body is back to it's old dirty tricks and that I am not ovulating. I love my doctor and usually he takes his timew ith me but I didn't feel like he really did this time and even after I told him I hadn't ovulated yet when I told him where I was in my cycle he said, "well you might already be 4-5 days pregnant. Ummm you have to ovulate to get pregnant. But what do I know? I have only been charting my cycles for 4+ years.

I guess the plan right now is to try it naturally a few cycles. We got pregnant on our own with Olivia so I know it is possible. DH also said that we are not taking next month off even though I really wasn't wanting to have another end of December baby. He says he is totally fine with another Christmas baby if that should happen.

Aww...I'm so sorry you feel your dr didn't listen today :(! Really praying you o on your own and soon :hugs:!! I'm secretly happy that you won't be taking next month off, lol, but still hoping for a bfp for you this cycle :fingerscrossed:!

This is totally unbaby related but I started selling Scentsy last fall and I love it and a couple weeks ago I added my first recruit. It is so exciting and now I am talks to add two more recruits on! Man I love what I do! No this isn't a Scentsy plug I am just kind of excited and had to share somewhere. :P Now back to regular programming. :laugh:

That's fantastic Rachel...I'm so glad you're enjoying it! I'm so surprised to read you're new to it...I was under the impression you've been doing it for a long time!! You're doing great marketing it on fb! I love Scentsy...my sil's sister sells it so whenever we get gifts from my sil it usually involves Scentsy products :laugh:

kellyowens... I am 3dpo today! I need to go to the dollar store so I can buy several hpt's :) I will try to wait till 8-10dpo to test but I know if I get a stabbing pain I will probably start 2-3 days after that :) I had what I believe to be implantation pain with both of my previous pregnancies so fx I will this time also!!!

Okay I started Crinone progesterone suppositories yesterday! I believe I took progesterone pills with my first pregnancy but this is my first time via this route... Any suggestions or side effects I should be expecting? I take one each am... I did have a headache develop yesterday afternoon. I am not sure if that was related or not but Im guessing so or atleast hormones acting out post ovulation!! thanks ladies

Yay Cookie! I am 2DPO today... I have about 45 Internet cheapies so we will see how long I can hold out! I will probably try to wait until 12 DPO... Testing early stresses me out!

On a totally unrelated note, I feel like pregnant people are everywhere! Last week I found out 4 different people were expecting. Then I came to work this morning and one of my associates told me she's 10 days late but is scared to test(she has an 11 month old at home). She then proceeded to tell me her story about how she got pregnant on the first try last time! I just smiled and nodded :) the only good thing would be that if she is pg someone else working at the store would need to get pregnant because it seems there is always at least 3 who are... So fingers crossed I will be the third!!!

I had strange spotting a couple of days ago - CD 10 - but this has happened to me before. I think it has to do with all the stress of my dad's death and my impending move half way across the country. I'm excited about it, but it's still stressful!

BTW - for those of you who responded to the thread I started a few weeks ago about having some milky discharge from my nipples. The breast specialist I see (due to my mom's breast cancer occurring at a young age) said that as long as it's in both breasts and is milky (as opposed to having blood, etc.) it can be part of a normal cycle and was nothing to worry about. I may check with my OBGYN too, just to make sure my hormone levels aren't out of whack for TTC.

That said, I'm about to have my first cup of Fertilitea! It's probably too late for this cycle with whatever hormone stuff seems to be happening - I should O mid-late next week. We've been BD-ing every other day -- hope to keep that (or every day) up until a few days past O so we can at least give this month a solid shot!

kellyowens... thank you! I can't wait! I have never tested + earlier than my expected period so I am more than sure that testing early will be a waist of money....but I am a POAS addict! What can I say lol

Hi ladies. Quick update on me- went to the RE this morning. I have one beautiful follie on the right at 24mm and my lining is nice and thick at 15mm. I was worried that my lining might be too thick but the u/s tech said it was in the normal range. IUI scheduled for tomorrow :hooray:

I'm a little bummed I didn't get more follies, but that is typical for me. We conceived DS with an IUI and only one follie.
