we are moving...

I posted last week or so about my room mates taking advantage of us. Well, Friday afternoon the guy we rent from (he doesn't live at the house) tried to add an extra 50/week on to our rent (without notice, even though I know he can since we have no written agreement, and two weeks before christmas). He backed down, but I have a feeling after Christmas he is going to try again. For 600 a month I can rent a decent apartment! We have the whole house, but we only use the one room. And mind you, the room we are in does not have space for anything but a bassinet. We were also told Friday we are NOT allowed to move into the bigger room. Greg is working seasonally right now and as soon as he gets back on the books (april) we are going to be looking for a place. When our taxes come, we will have all the money we need but since his under the table income doesn't count right now, we have to wait until he is getting a paystub before applying to places. LUCKILY his dad and him do work for different landlords and we are hoping to get into a place for a good deal. I'm really excited to finally be getting my own place because I already have an idea for the nursery, I will be so disappointed if I don't get to do it, lol! If worse comes to worse, my parents house is always an option - just a lot farther away from work.



Anyway, I'm counting down the hours until Wednesday - my 3d/4d ultrasound, plus we will find out what we are having! I can't wait.... :bellyrubs: at least I have something to look forward to this week.

Moving is such a pain, but it sounds like it is for the best. Hope you can find something you guys will be happy with! And YAY! for Ultrasound!! If my doc does not schedule one at either of my appointments this week I will be scheduling one locally, I cannot wait to find out!

I'm glad you are getting out of your current situation. How exciting about the US!!!
