Ugh I dread the glucose test. I passed right away the first time with DD, and the orange drink wasnt horrible; but the fact of having to do it sucks! I can only imagine 5hrs!!!! Good luck!!!!
I'm leaving to do my test after I get cam on the bus. I'm dreading. I was so nauseated for the one hour that i don't wanna think about how nauseated ill be today...

Mine is on the 19th ... I called and had it rescheduled for the morning :P It was suppose to be after my ultrasound at 3PM but then I would have had to try and 'watch my carbs and sugars' the whole day (I stink at that) - so they are allowing me to come in at 8AM just for the glucose testing.... then I'll return at 3PM for the Ultrasound and Dr Appt. I'm hoping to pass the 1 hr... but wouldn't be surprised if I fail.

My Dr did the AIC and I passed without any problems. The bad thing about the glucose drink is if you havent eaten it will give you starvation diabetes because your body doesnt know what to do with all the sugar because it hasnt eatten.
I fasted for 12 hours, I am so nauseated from that drink... They have on demand here, but I am sitting on my ipad, maybe I will get a nap in before the next draw!! The recliner I am sitting in makes me feel like I have to pee and is not comfy on my preggo back. I will be done at 1255. It is 1020 now.....
2/4 draws done! I am ready to fall asleep here...
