How did you tell SO? I came out of the bathroom carrying the BFP. I smiled, he smiled, we hugged.

Due - August 1st

First Doctor Appointment: Jan 2nd

Do you want to know the sex: YES!

Does DH want to know the sex: yes

Gender Guess: Boy though I'd prefer a girl since I have bags upon bags of clothes!

Have you told anyone yet? It seems like everyone knows now!

Symptom list: Sore breasts, smelling EVERYTHING!, more tired than usual, gassy, very light nausea

Any names picked out? Samantha Marie. Or Jacob Clayton (JC for short)

What's your TTC Story? Nothing special. We thought we were preggers by surprise in August and we realized how bad we wanted to try when the test was negative.

How did you tell SO? I called him at work - he knew I was getting the blood test results and I didn't want him to wonder or worry the rest of the day.

Due - August 9th (according to online due date calculator)

First Doctor Appointment: Had blood test on 30th November, but first ultrasound will be between the 19th and 21st of December.

Do you want to know the sex: I thought I would want it to be a surprise, but I don't think I will be able to wait.

Does DH want to know the sex: He doesn't care either way so he will go with whatever I want.

Gender Guess: No idea. Would love a girl, but will be happy with a healthy baby either way.

Have you told anyone yet? Yes, my parents, brother and sister-in-law and a few close friends.

Symptom list: Very little. Very mild cramping, mild breast soreness, and some strange food reactions. I take a long time to figure out what I want to eat and don't seem to be in the mood for the things I usually eat. Seem to always be in the mood for soup.

Any names picked out? Charlotte Victoria or Charles Victor (Charlie either way)

What's your TTC Story? We have known that my SO has fertility issues since we got together (4 years ago) so we knew we would need assistance to have a baby. When we were ready we consulted a fertility clinic and I got pregnant on my first cycle of IVF! Just hoping all goes smoothly.

Due to some unusual issues my doctor recommended that I think about having 3 embryos transferred and I agreed so I am a little nervous about the possibility that we are expecting multiples. I would be really happy with twins, but any more than that freaks me out!

How did you tell SO? I gave him a case of wine to unload onto our wine rack and replaced some of the bottles with NA wine. He asked what they were for and I said, me!

First Doctor Appointment: Dec. 11th (DS1's 3rd birthday!)

Do you want to know the sex: no

Does DH want to know the sex: YES

Gender Guess: Girl, though that's probably mostly wishful thinking!

Have you told anyone yet? Just one very close friend. We will tell our family on Christmas

Symptom list: Extreme exhaustion, heightened sense of smell, gassy, super emotional, lightheaded at times

Any names picked out? We have a few ideas, but nothing set in stone.

What's your TTC Story? We wanted to wait another year or two to get pregnant, butGod had other plans! A few weeks ago I thought I was pregnant but held off on taking a test until I was sure I had missed my period(they are irregular) and we got a bfp!

Have you told anyone yet? No I had a chemical our first month of TTC so I want to be sure everything is great before we announce. However I did let it slip to my best friend but she is the only one who knows other than my Fiance.

Symptom list: Swollen breast. gassy. HEARTBURN LIKE CRAZY. so tired. Can't make it through the day without napping.

Any names picked out? A girl name but no boy name

What's your TTC Story? We started trying about 5 months ago. We started getting discouraged that things were happening as quickly as we thought they would so we stopped trying all together. I was actually supposed to go on birth control until after the wedding but baby bean has surprised us and we couldn't be happier.

Due - August 10 (they have not given me an exact due date yet but at my appt. the ultrasound measuremtns all gave this date. Its hard to get an exact one becuase I cannot remember my last AF)

I came downstairs and showed him the positive test. He said, "wow. This thing is a mini computer! It MUST be right!"

Gender Guess: I think it's a boy. However, this is only because I can't picture the baby as a girl!

What's your TTC Story? I've been off the pill for almost a year now but we weren't actively "trying". That said, we were going to start in the spring. This early news has us both so excited!

Welcome to Holly, Jenny & Ashley! Looks like we have a few North Carolinians! I am one as well, I just don't live there any more. I grew up in a very small town South of Charlotte and lived there until just 3 years ago. It is a beautiful place to live, but at this time of year I am happy to be in my warmer climate! Hope no one is suffering from too many symptoms. I hit exactly 6 weeks today and still very little for me. Just more tired, but can't sleep very well. I wake up a lot. And I started drooling on my pillow! That was an unpleasant surprise. :eyeroll

Have you told anyone yet? Not yet, will tell my husband's twin and sister in law as soon as their son is born ( she is ready to give birth any day so don't want to steal anything from them

What's your TTC Story? We started trying back in March but my Husband got a new job that required us to relocate so we stopped and just started trying again in Nov

What's your TTC Story? We starting TTC back in July & my cycles were crazy. I got PG right away but lost the baby. This was my 2nd loss so I was pretty devastated. My cycles remained long & so I really didn't think I was PG. I was getting ready to make an appointment with my OB to discuss how to get AF to show up & thought I should take a test just in case. Sure enough, a BFP!!

How did you tell SO? --- I came home gave him 2 positive tests and did the 3rd one with him..

First Doctor Appointment: met with Nurse and had blood tests done on December 18th, first doctor appointment schedualed for janruary 24th with Ultrasound.

Gender Guess: I'm guessing Girl since having two boys before i had severe morning sickness, but with my daughter nothing, same as with this pregnancy...

Symptom list: round ligiment pain, tender soar breasts, sleeping alott, & acne

What's your TTC Story? After having our 3rd child we got on Birth control "DEPRO SHOT" we knew we wanted more kids and after hearing horror stories of infertility issues after depo, i stopped getting them sfter the 3rd shot... It took us almost 1 1/2 years later before we got pregnant with this baby and couldnt be happier..

I am however seeing a home Visiting Nurse as well as a Doctor.. Im also getting a DOULA so that i can try for a VBA3C.

Welcome Amy! I was on drop for almost 5 years before having my first baby. It took 1 year til I got a regular period and then 8 months to get preggo...but we weren't actively trying, just not preventing.

doulas are great! My mom is a doula so I am lucky to have my mom/doula as well as DH in the delivery room with me :)

How did you tell SO? I left him a present in his car, he works long shifts at work. It had some congratulations balloons, a baby Christmas stocking with two cigars in it, a little piece of cake that had congrats written on it and six pack of Dos Equis. He didn't get it and "ignored" my texts (because his phone was on silent). He went over to his parent’s house and came home about two hours late. hahaha. I was mad so I locked him out of the room and went to bed. He opened the door using a credit card, saw the test on the bathroom sink and crawled into bed with me woke me up to tell me how happy he was and gave me a foot rub. All is always forgiven with a foot rub :)

Gender Guess: Girl, they run strong on both sides of the family

Symptom list: Sore breasts and armpits, bad nausea (not throwing up yet but I also can hardly eat and everything sounds gross), stretching pains, sooooo sleepy and hormonal

Any names picked out? No we never agree. Our DD was named 2 days after she was born.

What's your TTC Story? Don’t really have one. Had my IUD removed in Sept and decided to take a break this month so we could both enjoy the holidays. We even avoided my ovulation days this month. Turns out i ovulated early :)

What's your TTC Story? We have been npp...figured if we were able to have a 3rd baby that's great, if not, we are happy with our girls. So while this isn't exactly a surprise, it kind of is, too!

In some ways it would be easier to have another girl b/c we have tons of girl clothes! But some variation would be good, too. :) Guess I'm not partial, really!

Must be a small world after all, all 3 of us in the Aug. DD room and from PA. I am also in PA...about 2 hours north of Altoona and about 3 hours north of Pittsburgh...in Kane (aka the middle of nowhere).

I know where Kane is! Yes, it is the middle of nowhere. After living in small towns all my life I feel like I'm in the big city now, even though I'm not even close! Lol

Allie, I know where Kane is! I went to college in Erie pa and went to school with someone from there.
