Naming Help?
Okay...we STILL haven't chosen a name at all, and we're out of ideas. We like names that are a little odd or old-fashioned, or have a meaning. I'd like an "M" name if possible, to go with the other 2. We also need 2 middle names to match the other 2. My son is Michael Lee Wilson (all family names, and I got out-voted), my daughter is Meleana (mel-e-ah-na) Rose Keahi (key-ah-he). Last name is Morse, like Morse Code (and I've threatened to name the baby Cody if we can't come up with a name). Oh, just to make it even harder, we don't know the gender.
Suggestions, please....please, I'm begging :shocker:

There's a million M names, I'd be overwhelmed choosing! Stupid question, did you google it?
Some great sites I know of:

No, it's not a stupid question...and, yes, I Googled it. That did exactly what you said, completely overwhelmed me, and yet nothing stood out. That's why I'm asking...maybe someone has names they like but decided not to use for whatever reason. Our original "likes" were Marek Edmund or Delaney Elizabeth (Elzbieta). I still kinda like Elzbieta, but I'm completely lost. With DD, she didn't have a name until she was 5 days old!!
On a weird note, I just found a list of girl names my father had given me when I was trying to name DD. He passed 3 years ago, so I'm debating now about using one of those somehow (if baby is a girl, that is) Here they are:
Briana
Caitlin (my brother is reserving this one)
Cara
Cassidy
Glenna
Lara
Seana
Liliana
Kirystin
Katarina
Lenci (means "light")
Malika
Madara (a flower)
Brigita
Benita
Elzbieta (my father's mother's name)
Kasia

My cousin is named Seana (spelled that correct Celtic way too!) and I love it. She's one of my very best friends and I sort of want to name this one after her if it's a girl, but I don't think my husband is game.
I think you should use something on your dad's list to honor him! I love that idea! And I like Elzbieta for your familial significance.

Your dad had a great list going! I really like Kasia.
On the "M" note here are ones I've come up with.
Girl: Boy:
Maylin Maverick
Melia (like Amelia but without the A) Mateo
We don't know if this LO is a boy or girl either and we have NO clue on names. There are at least a few girl names we might consider but I can't even find one boy name I even like a little! Ugh!
Good luck!

Ooooh I like Mateo! Simple yet powerful! Don't worry, I won't steal it :winks:.
M's I came up with for you after browsing:
BOYS: Madden (American), Makani (means "the wind" in Polynesian - boy OR girl), Moses (Biblical)
GIRLS: Malia (from "Mary," Polynesian), Mahari ("divine maiden" in Sanskrit)
