Quick question ladies!
My husband is freaking out over the thought of twins! I got a very faint positive at 3 weeks and 3 days! I had my blood test done on 3 weeks and 5 days and my beta was up to 201! I get my second beta result tomorrow but I just wanted to ease his mind! What were your alls betas that early? I would be excited for twins but I just was a healthy baby whether it is one or two! =) Hes so worried about affording twins though!!
Thanks ladies!

I know its hard to tell by numbers but I was just curious! I have an ultrasound set for august 28th!

Can't remember exact numbers, but they weren't significant to indicate twins. We were able to see two little beating hearts at our 6 week u/s though:)

I didn't get my betas drawn w/my twins. But my progesterone was 36, which is really high for me. Betas aren't generally indicative of twins, but progesterone levels can be.

Thanks ladies! I guess we will see on the 28th! =)

My first beta at 10dp5dt was 435. My second at 14dp5dt was something in the 3,300s! Good luck!

Wow those are great numbers! =) thank you for sharing

I didn't get my betas drawn with my twins either. We just saw two little babies at 9 weeks on the u/s.

just for a point of reference with a singleton.... my beta was 295 and progesterone was 35.7 at exactly 4 weeks. My second beta was 679 (doubling time of 38 hours.) And only one precious babe in there
-
good deal! My Beta was 466 at 4 weeks. =) So we shall see! I am pretty sure there is only one baby in there

MY doctor doesn't do follow up Betas, so I don't have doubling #s, but I can compare to my DS. With him, my Beta was 27 and with the twins, it was 2,370. I also had all-day, low level nausea starting a day or two before I hit the 4 wk mark with the twins, whereas the M/S didn't start until 6 wks with my DS. I think the doubling (or more) will tell you more than the initial # though. Congratulations!
