So I've had a MFP account for awhile now but just added the app to my phone. I am letting my WW membership lapse next week and will be switching back to MFP. I figured out how to track on there, but how do I add friends? Do I have to do that on the computer? I'd like to add any of you ladies who are on there using it if I could :)

I have only been able to figure out how to add once I know someone's username, so I usually just see someone posting on here that they are looking for mfp friends and add them that way.

So how do I do that? Seriously...I'm sort of dumb at this! The only thing I could see to do looked like it was going to send some sort of email. Is that what I want to do? I pushed Add Friend and then it opened up this email address/username thing but the top says Invite. I would think it should say Request...ok, you'll be my first try. I'm sending whatever it is to you. Hopefully since I know your username it'll just work like I want it too :laugh:

after the slash type in the user name and then it should allow you to add the person. using the add friends seems to recruit people for the website.

Maybe we could look into a little APA group over there? It would be nice to have a friendly little enclave. What do you all think?
I'm open to it, of course, I don't know anybody on there who is not from apa! I don't how that works, tho.

I'd love a group! I don't know how you do that or anything, though. I don't like their forums. I'd like to like them, but they're not very user friendly or else I just can't figure out how to easily view new posts in a thread or anything like that.
They aren't user friendly at all - I will try to figure out how to set up a group for us...
okay - created a private group. can you all forward the mfp usernames of anyone you are friends with on there so I can invite them as well? I will create a new thread in weightloss so we can try to get all the apa'ers on there!
