Another Update!!!
So its been crazy the past month as we were Matched in late May with a sweet 3 month old little boy! :hooray: It was a whirlwind situation where we found out about him on a Saturday, was matched on Tuesday, was on a plane on Thursday and he was in our arms on Friday:cabbage:!! Sweet R is part of a triplet set, and one of his brothers will also be placed after he undergoes surgery. When the boys were born one was born with a severe heart defect and they found out that he and R have a chromosomal abnormality called DiGeorge which could possibly require lots of medical attention and special education. While in the hospital the family realized that if they kept all three boys that R and his brother would not get the full amount of individual care and attention they need. R so far is not severely affected and only has minimal issues, but he will be closely monitored and receive therapies to keep on top of the possible developmental delays.
We did not start our journey with a special needs child on our hearts but God knew exactly what we needed and R has been such a blessing to our family! We are already head over heels with this boy!

That is wonderful! There are a lot of support groups for DiGeorge and one of my friends has a now 6 year old with that illness. If you'd like to send me your e-mail address I can let her know that and ask her to send you some more information.

That's fantastic! I hope that he finds a permanent home with you, his new and future family.
