confused!! please help
Me and my girlfriend had sex last night. She just started taking birth control two days ago, and while we know it doesn't have effect til later, we still had sex. I began to ejaculate, and I pulled out, but I'm afraid I was too slow and some might have gotten inside her. Her period was 10 days ago, so should we be worried? Will a plan B interfere or affect her birth control?

Yes, she could have gotten pregnant. Is plan B the day after pill? Call or talk with a pharmacist about it.

On a "regular cycle", ovulation occurs 14 days after a period. Every woman is different, and every cycle is different. There could be a chance she ovulated early and she could be pregnant. Not to mention sperm lives for several days. If you are worried, I would definitely look into Plan B, and for further advice, use more then birth control. Good luck!

there is a chance she could be pregnant. plan b would be a good idea to avoid it, but it is like an extra large dose of birth control so i would check with the pharmacist or dr to find out if she should continue her birth control pill on schedule

Um you asked could it interfere with her BC??? Is she on the pill?? because if she is then I will say NO she could not get pregnant if and only if she has been taking them regularly and has not missed a pill or taken any antibiotic's. GL

I have to disagree with the above post. I took my bc ontime and no antibiotics and still got prego with my two previous kids. There is a good chance she could be pregnant due to the bc not being built up (which is why they say to use back up for at least the first month.)

Um my pill babies were antibiotic babies and I stated that if and only if she has been taking them regularly and Not missed a pill or med's that would interfere she should be sage of coarse that is with the assumption that she has been on then for more than 30 days if not then yes a 2nd firm of BC would be wise of for no other reason than to avoid an STD of coarse there is no guarantee on either of them.

If she just started BC 7 days ago there is a fairly good chance because the BC is not built up and plan b should not affect her BC because its like a larger dose of BC. USE back up BC for at MIN a month. I hope that things come out the way you want.
