super early pregnancy symptom???

Okay, I'm kicking myself for not charting this month. I have no idea when I've ovulated, however, if this month was like any other month, I'd be about 8DPO. I woke up yesterday with pain in my foot, so much that it made me limp. As the day went on and I was talking more I noticed my lower back/butt was hurting too. I mentioned it to my parents and they said it sounds like sciatic pain. I know this is a pretty common pregnancy symptom in the 2nd/3rd trimester but has anyone experienced this as early as 3 weeks? Maybe I'm :crazy: and overthinking but I did some research online and found some people who knew they were pregnant just because of this pain they got.

What else causes this pain?

Ah...something I actually have experience with... Well, sciatic pain comes from an irritation of the nerve, which can be from bending/twisting/sleeping in an odd position. The reason for the pain in later pregnancy is the weight gain caused your spine to shift slightly and that can put pressure on the disks, which in turn irritate the nerve. I have ongoing issues with sciatica. As far as being an early pregnancy symptom, I'd have to say no because it's related to weight and position, not to hormones. Though...you're not sure it's sciatic pain either, so don't rule out a pregnancy just because sciatic pain isn't an early symptom...

Thanks, I knew it wasn't hormonal - which made me wonder how it could have been related. But like I said, I did find someone who had the pain in early pregnancy and knew she was pregnant in that way. I am sure it's probably just the way I slept. I have a bad habit of falling asleep anywhere :laugh:.

My fiance keeps asking if I'm pregnant because I'm usually freezing, but lately I've been warm...still too early to test... You never know what the sign will be, so, like I said, I wouldn't rule anything out until you know for sure. :luck:

I'm having that same issue! Yesterday I made my DBF turn on the fan on high as I stripped my shirt and pants cause I was sooo hottt. Hahah. I'm normally so cold I can't move. We'll seeee !!! I haven't decided when to test yet since I didn't chart. Good luck to you too!!!
