Broken thyroids are a pain in the butt. Just so you know, once you do get your BFP, call your doctor and DEMAND that they start checking it immediately. The nurse I talked said my thyroid wouldn't change until later (big fat lie) and my thyroid got so out of whack during pregnancy now that I had to go back to the endocrinologist. SHE told me thyroid levels will start changing very early on in a pregnancy and don't level off until 16 weeks or so. Even my o/b wasn't fully aware of thyroid issues IN pregnancy (which surprised me). My advice when the time comes is to be very proactive about it!
