I am glad you got to have a good time. :)
:P LOL
I'd be interested to hear what some of you guys' musical tastes are. I'm always looking for good new music. I haven't really liked any new music in years except you know who and lady gaga.
My mom recommended a band called Vampire Weekend. I listened to some of it and it wasn't my thing. I like music with a good melody and/or a good beat.
I honestly don't listen to a lot of new music but recently I've been listening to Them Crooked Vultures. I don't think it's your thing but I like it, probably because one member is over 60. But it does qualify as new music!
Okay guys. ENTERTAIN ME. I've got a glass of wine and a DH who is reading some engaging novel all night and I'm boooooooooooored.
I'm sorry if I sounded snarky about not getting responses. I was just starting to feel a little embarassed. LOL
Hmm when I am alone with a glass of wine I usually go on FB and see who wants to talk to me LOL
Maggie, you're the one with the wine! Please share! The best I can do is raspberry lemonade.
Okay I am going to list some random artists/groups from my Ipod...

There's so many more but there's a bunch! Way more than I had anticipated typing out but then the fingers were flowing!
Gavin Degraw (Have you heard of him? Not sure why but I think ya might like him) --yes, I do like him actually
Slipknot (I like Stone Sour better...same lead singer)--I had no idea they were the same singer! I love Stone Sour's Bother.
I like a lot of your music :) I don't own a lot of music though because I usually only hear a couple songs I like...it takes at least 3-4 songs for me to buy a whole album.
I uh, don't buy albums. :shame:
I hear a song by an artist I like and then download a bunch of music from them.
Yep, Corey Taylor is the lead singer of both Slipknot and Stone Sour. Stone Sour has a lot of good songs and Slipknot...well, most of their stuff is a bit too screamo for me. I do really like their newest single. I think it would much better fit a Stone Sour album though.
Screamo LOL
I have an ipod but the batteries have been dead forever. I was a bit overwhelmed by it anyway.
My first one, a Nano, got stolen. I had it in my car and someone busted the window out and stole it.
It was pretty well hidden too so I think they busted out the window just looking for anything.
Soooo then I talked Jimi into getting me the Ipod Touch which I love.
I confess it made me giggle that Janeen listed Flyleaf in her music list..
Ya know, I actually don't like them AS MUCH as other people do. I do like em and we saw them in concert...we didn't mean to though. It was before they were even big. We went to see Seether but Shinedown and Flyleaf pretty much stole the show. Jimi went to see Flyleaf again but I didn't go that time. I mean, they're good but...again, I'm just not AS into them as a lot of people are.
I just thought it was funny since this is the secular confessions and they are a "christian" band
Yeahhh I know. I can't really say that I get that whole Christian vibe from them though. Except for the song Cassie where the girl dies for saying she believes in God.
Maybe I don't listen to all of her lyrics well enough.
I've heard of flyleaf but I don't think I have heard any of their songs.
Every time I scan by the Christian radio station, I actually kind of like the melodies...just not the lyrics. :)
I confess that I'm eating a doughnut and drinking coffee.
Too. Much. Sweet. Stuff.
I had to make Jimi eat the rest of the doughnut.
And now I'm frickin irritated!
http://americanpregnancy.org/forums/...d.php?t=225026
I confess that this pregnancy has been flying by so fast that it really doesnt feel like it should be time for things to start happening. Like, it doesn't seem like I should be to the point that it's uncomfortable to sleep, bend over, and sometimes get up off the couch. I feel like people will probably think I'm over exaggerating sometimes and then I'm like... "Oh yeah, you ARE 24 weeks pregnant!" I really try not to whine too much though because I know it's going to get worse before it gets better...and I need to save the whining for then!
I did tell Jimi last night though that he has to start cleaning out our bath tub. It's too deep and bending over the edge to clean out the inside really makes my tummy sore.
That does sound like an extra step, Janeen. (the unpacking then putting away)
Besides t hat, how have you been feeling over the last couple days?
Better actually, much better. I'm wondering if it all just came to a head and maybe my cryfest helped? :dunno:
I am definitely going to keep a watchful eye on my thoughts and emotions though.
I confess we are taking Charlie to the er whenever my mom gets home.
Could be...sometimes it helps to just have a good cry.
