I confess we had a blast at King Richard's Faire today! (Massachusetts Ren Fest, basically) Josh got his face painted so pretty. It was so nice being there without DH (he is away for the day doing his own thing). Even though he is into the whole fantasy thing he for some reason just doesn't really like renfest and I know he would have been embarrassed about Josh's face paint. Josh wanted that fancy stuff they do around the eyes mostly on girls but the guy did a very nice blue and white feather design (complete with glitter LOL). He looked like a little owl! We walked around for hours, shared a giant turkey leg, had a cookie, followed around a person in a giant paper mache fish and just had a lot of fun. Josh was even clapping at things he liked. He usually kind of passively observes everything. Almost as soon as we got home, my inlaws showed up and asked if they could take Josh. I was exhausted from the faire and I feel a headache coming on so I was like sure!
We had so much fun though. I was glad we could spend enough time for Josh to warm up to the strangeness and the crowd. I forgot how much I love renfest and how I wish I was still in the crowd that likes that kind of thing. Then I got to thinking about the guy I dated before Steve and how he was into renfest and all that, and where would I be now if I'd stayed with him instead. I entertained the thought of contacting him on facebook, but I don't think DH would like that. Why must I always entertain these thoughts? LOL

Kate, that sounds like you had so much fun! I'm jealous. That's funny, my last BF was really into ren fest type stuff, too, and now I'm also out of that scene completely.

It really was a blast! I loved seeing the people who dressed up (not just the staff but the people attending)
Beautiful women and hot guys, they just look even better in the renaissance outfits! :wub: And seeing the little kids dressed up as princes and princesses, and fairies, it was too precious!

hehehehe I threw out all our porn when we got the internet. We have certain sites bookmarked where you can just watch for free with no downloading. :silly: My biggest fear was both of us dying and someone finding out all our nasty extracurricular activites. :laugh: LMAO

We definitely have a few websites (free) bookmarked as well.

But I also like making dates out of going to a few of the adult shops around here and picking out new stuff, DVD's included. :)

We do that alot too, but it's always other stuff. LOL. The movies are CRAZY expensive it seems! Well....the good ones anyway. :angel:
