I don't know if that makes sense. They rarely get out of line, but if you are dancing you are really halfway to sex, right? So a guy likes to feel like he might have a shot in real life (even if it would never ever in a million years happen). We go around in a clockwise motion, with freestyle partner dancing in the middle (tosses, spins, lindy-hop type stuff). Anyone who doesn't go counter-clockwise is politely but firmly bumped off the dance floor by the passing dancers. Old-school dance hall - one of the original honky-tonks from the 50's I think. Such a great place.
