No problem! I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to respond, I rarely have notifications so I just don't think to look up there. Silly me!
We rocked him to sleep for probably his first year of life. We are cosleepers/bedsharers with both of our boys and only last May transitioned them into their own room/beds. It has been a process, but my oldest (5.5) has been doing great with sleeping in his own bed for about 6 months now and has been pretty much staying his own bed throughout the night for the last 6 weeks or so.
I don't regret our methods at all, now that we're out on the other side and know that obviously they can/will learn to sleep independently.
It sounds like you've got a good thing going on if you can rock her and she quickly falls asleep and you can transfer her without waking her. I wouldn't mess up a good thing unless you did mind the process.
Hi there!!!! I hope you don't mind me messaging you? How long did you rock your son? My daughter still asks to be rocked sometimes before bed. She's four so I know I need to totally stop but I really don't mind especially since she falls asleep in 5 seconds.
