Sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment with your doctor, so they will set an appointment with someone like me, a nurse practitioner. I blend nursing and healthcare services in dealing with patients. Most people don't know but I am trained to order and interpret test results, recommend treatment, complete physicals, and prescribe therapy or medication.
