Holy Crap! Baby #6, you are a pro!
My DH calls me bedlump, which has become lump for short because I HATE getting out of bed in the mornings.

Lisa is my name and I joined APA in 2006. I am not creative, but it works lol.
MamaMia
10-09-2008, 11:09 PM
My dog's name is Mia. And I call her Mia/Mama Mia/Mama/Mommy/Meeda Meeda all the time. And so I figured I would use one of the names I gave her as my log on. Again, not creative either, just like to think of her often....she is my first child
September03
10-10-2008, 07:16 AM
September is the month my boyfriend and I met. It is also the month we conceived the baby we lost, and also the conception month for Itty Bitty. 03 is the year we got together :)
Capricity
10-10-2008, 07:27 AM
Mine is based on a word I just happened to like.
capricious \kuh-PRISH-us; -PREE-shus\, adjective:
Apt to change suddenly; whimsical; changeable.
It sounds pretty and has a pretty applicable meaning for my personality :P
And then I just thought I would make it into a noun instead of an adjective and 'capricity' (kind of like felicity?) sounded like the noun form, which I guess isn't actually a really word. lol

kbaratka
10-14-2008, 07:57 AM
I'm so not creative. K is the first initial of my first name Kylee and Baratka is my last name. I guess I join the list of not very creative.

My kids all dance so I live at ballet.
ILoveMyLittleOne
10-14-2008, 08:19 AM
My name was Iwantalittleone, because I wanted a baby. After DD was born, I changed it to Ilovemylittleone, because I love her! I'll have to change it to Ilovemylittleones soon!:silly:
faye1218
10-14-2008, 08:59 AM
Faye is my middle name and 1218 really no longer has any significance (it was a date that was important to me a long time ago - but I have used this screen name for over 10 years and it's just easier for me to keep it the same on all of my sign-ins!).
bryans_mommy
10-14-2008, 10:54 AM
I think mine's rather obvious lol. maybe not too creative - but this is basically a mommy board or expecting/ hopeful mommy board, so it works. :)
Sugar&Spice
10-14-2008, 01:52 PM
Mine has 2 meanings. The first is the childhood rhyme: Sugar and spice and everything nice, That's what little girls are made of. The second is that my DH thinks I'm sweet and I think he's spicy, so it represents us a pair.

Mine is a name an ex gave me and I have used it as a screen name for years. I too join the ranks of uncreative. I should probably change it...

Bringing this back up since lots of people have joined and I love to hear about our names!
gigglynell
10-27-2008, 11:27 AM
My best friend used to call me Giggles and a nickname for my first name is Nell so I just kind of combined them together to come up with gigglynell. I have been thinking of just changing it to my first name, Janelle.
Mamateresa
10-27-2008, 11:41 AM
hum... it's my first dot last name. Wished I would have left the last name thing out. Anyone know if you can change it?
edited: ahha I changed it! Um now it's 'cause I'm going to be a mama and my name is Teresa....last year for halloween I was Mummy Teresa. My nickname in high school was nun.
Mine's just one of my childhood nicknames. I use it for almost everything.
Colee
10-27-2008, 12:51 PM
Mine is a nickname I've had since I was less than 24 hours old. My mom wanted to name me Callie and my dad wanted Nicole. My mom gave in and after signing the birth certificate my dad walked over and picked me up and said "Hi Colee." My mom almost freaked wanting to know what the differance was. He said a nickname is different than a name. I use it for most of my sign ins. Maybe not overly creative, but sentimental.

I couldn't find a way to change your user name. Maybe ask on the "user help" board.

Mine is a nickname (one of thousands) from my DH. It started out one day when I said Uff-da! (Hey, I'm minnesotan!) and it just evolved from that.
Häschenhaar
11-01-2008, 05:57 PM
Mine is a really cute German word. Unfortunately there is no word for it in English.
But literally it means: Hair of a little bunny.
AnnieEek
11-01-2008, 07:05 PM
Annie Eek is a nick name I've had since I was about two. My real name is Angela, but my parents called me "Angie" while I was growing up (which I dislike), and my maiden name rhymed with Eek. I had a horrible lisp for years and when I would say my name it sounded like "Annie Eek" and it just stuck. :silly:

Jen,
what does uff-da mean?
It's a Norwegian exclamation. Here in MN, well for those of Norewegian descent, it's used for just about everything, bang your toe? Uff-da! Have a heavy load? Uff-da! Have a lot to handle? uff-da. You can look it up on wikipedia, it has a great explanation. It's just something I picked up from my grandma. Apparently my DH thought it was pretty funny. It's a common saying to me but it's also one of those things that a lot of people from the coasts expect EVERYONE in MN to say 'wit dat craaazy accent der'
mkemom

Mke = Milwaukee's airport code (I live in Milwaukee) and the "mom" is pretty obvious (I was pregnant with my first when I joined APA).
