Can we talk about Mucinex again?

Ok, so I know this topic is completely over-discussed, but I bought some today and just have some questions.

1. Are we sure this is ok to take when we aren't sick? I usually try not to take medication unless it's necessary...

2. When do I take it? From what I understand, I should take it during my "fertile" time, as predicted by FF. Is that right?

3. How often do I take it? The directions say to take 1-2 caplets every 12 hours...are the directions the same for our purposes?

Last cycle I took one pill every night. I started at CD 9 or 10 ( I normally O around CD 14) and once I knew for sure that I O'ed I stoped taking it. I noticed a huge difference in my CM, as this month I did not take it and didnt have any noticable CM.

Allison...I took it day 9-14...1 tab 2 x daily and i don't know if i noticed a diffence in CM...it did help my sinus clear out :D

Thank you for asking these questions Allison, I was just wondering the same things myself the other day. I think I might try this too with my next cycle. This cycle with the Clomid I had hardly any CM, which was frustrating.

Allison - thanks for posting this! I picked some up this morning and am going to try it this cycle starting tonight. I never check my CM other than on the tissue when I wipe, so maybe I'll notice it with the help of the Musinex? Hopefully it'll help the spermies swim! :D
